Dann muss man sie deinstallieren und wieder installieren und anmelden. Gut das ich nur 1 mal pro Woche oder alle 14 Tage waschen muss aber wenn man diese App täglich benutzen will, ist der Ärger wohl größer. This app takes buggy to new levels. It’s over complicated to begin with, with many more options than are useful, although some of that is a just mirroring the washing machine itself. It remind you about the cleaning cycles but can’t actually do them or tell you how. Who thought that ‘Log In’ and ‘Sign In’ being separate concepts was user friendly?! And worst of all the app gives up completely after a week or so of any level of usage, whereupon it continually crashes on launch, the only way to fix it being uninstall and reinstall - a process I must have done at least 50 times now as this app is the only way to use my washing machine fully. How is this even possible with Apple?! Worst App Ever. Ever. My previous washer dryer I stuck to the same programs I don’t even think I use the dryer more than once but since having the app it so simple and it gives great tips and advice to ensure all our washing is done in the most protective and cost effective way. With the helpful tips and advice I’ve learnt so much like I always spray perfume on my clothes never thought about the oils that are going into the clothes and staining them, but my little app tells me it is My little wizard 🧙‍♀️ **Developer response:** Hi, thanks for your review, we really appreciate your feedback! Cloe ### 1/5 — Beware if you want to change your WIFI network! *2024-07-19* Initially when setting up my washing machine with the Hoover Wizard app, things went through fine. It is a very clunky app, designed by someone with little development knowledge. This truly came to light when my WIFI router needed to be changed and so having reconnected all my other devices in the household, I couldn’t find anyway to change it for the washing machine. I removed it from the app and tried to re-add which then gives an error. A support ticket raised to Hoover and they replied ‘Due to legislation in the UK the product you have is no longer able to be supported on the Wizard platform’. Absolute rubbish response, it’s purely because the app and backend server was so poorly developed it cannot handle a change of WIFI address. The last time I buy a Hoover appliance. ### 5/5 — Bedienung *2024-05-05* 2 Sterne, was gut ist, dass man jederzeit den Status der Wäsche einsehen kann und man Meldungen bekommt sobald die laufende Wäsche fertig ist. Und das auch wenn sich der Waschraum eine Etage unter der Wohnung Befindet. Weniger gut und dafür 3 Sterne Abzug, weil die Maschine via Remote Control die Befehle wie zb den Start eines Programms nicht sofort ausführt wie man sich das vorstellt und das trotz sehr guter Verbindung, da Router uns Maschine sich relativ nah beieinander befinden. Das ist schade. Julian ### 3/5 — When will this work on iOS? *2024-02-03* The app only truly works if it downloaded from the Google store, so virtually pointless being on here as doesn’t do much else on iOS other being a user manual ! The version from the Google store (and therefore not the iOS version) will let me chose and submit specific wash programs to the washing machine which is awesome, so why don’t you do the same for iOS? Update 2024: it worked for while on iOS, now it doesn’t let me log-in, so 3 stars because it worked for while, is excellent when it does work and shows signs that it can work… A malfunctioning pain in the backside? Certainly is! Will this app ever function properly? Maybe! Will this app stop me doing the laundry? Certainly not! Will my laundry suffer as a consequence of not using a specific wash cycle the app is intending to provide (trousers, lingerie etc)?… 🤔 **Developer response:** Hi, we are sorry for the inconvenience. The NFC technology integrated in iOS devices uses different types of hardware, which are not fully compatible with our NFC products. This is the reason why iOS devices and NFC products cannot interact. However, the iOS App allows you to access useful sections such as Tips, Help Online and Manuals. Carl ### 3/5 — Super Waschmaschine *2024-01-15* Wir haben die Waschmaschine nun seit 3 Jahren und 5 Monaten und ist bis jetzt außer das sie manchmal die Wäsche nicht richtig trocken geschleudert hat super gut. Leider aber kann ich sie nicht mit dem Handy verbinden da 1. unser Wlan nicht bis in den Keller reicht und 2. man leider kein Netz hat dort unten so muss ich leider wie bei den anderen Waschmaschinen weiter auf die Uhr gucken schade. ### 3/5 — Get a UI Designer *2024-01-13* Come on, get some contrasting colours for when icons are selected. Why is the dark coloured wash a white t-shirt and the light only wash a black t-shirt pic. And then selecting a icon it’s very difficult to see what has been selected. Also sometimes after a wash that has been started through the app, once complete the next wash trying to start it on the app or the machine just results in constant beeping and the washer display cycling through all the elements. I have to turn it off at the mains and back on. I have stopped using it for now. Manual is way more easy to actually get consistently running.
