The ads make the game nearly unplayable. Banners and such I don't mind, but half of the time when you die, a delayed ad pops up over the retry option so you are continuously being redirected to the App Store looking at some crappy app that you have no interest in at all. And this is no infrequent event. The game is not the easiest and until you get the hang of it you can expect to be double tapping that home button and switching back to the app several times per minute. Sort it out get rid of stupid pop up ads in games. We all hate them and I have taken to specifically ignoring anything that is advertised in this way regardless of whether I would have liked the app or not. If it's a pop up image redirect, then I'm not supporting it, and you shouldn't either. Our media is being populated with evermore intrusive and irritating ads, and we shouldn't have to put up with it. Edit: Developer response. Wow I totally forgot about this review. I am sure the ads in question were just from a buggy version of the game. I am not opposed to ads in general as I understand the need to make money from free games. It was just the intrusive and involuntary nature of the ads in question that was so irritating. I shall update my rating. We're working with our ad partners on this, who we need to work with in order to financially support the game, our lives, our families, and keep our jobs. The ads should never be accidental clicks and we have since released an update fixing this. Needs work, but still addictive! ### 5/5 β€” Great game needs a tiny bit of help *2015-01-06* The game is a great game really fun and really addicting super hard though great game overall but the only reason why this game got a 4 star was because of those crazy adds that pop up after you die and most of the time people click on them and it takes you out of the game which is annoying. Makes me not want to play it. *2015-01-05* I can only play the game one time after i open the app because then a random ad appears at the worst time because you're going to click play and then the ad shows up and it then becomes too late and you end up clicking on it anyway. Thank you for the kind words ### 3/5 β€” Room for Improvement *2015-01-04* I gave this game 3 stars because it has potential for 4 stars. First off, it's addicting. I also can't stop calling the game "Hip Hop Ninja," which also sounds like a cool game. I am not sure what the point of the flying objects is. Maybe a distraction? Also, the sushi is irrelevant because you don't gain anything from it. What would be nice is if you had the ability to jump on one of the red ninjas and destroy it. Or maybe if the sushi offered you a temporary ghost like ability to go through the red ninja, or just something helpful. I can consecutively play up to 20 rounds of this game, so it would also be cool to see my average. **Developer response:** Awesome review, BeccaB21TM. The sushi gives you an extra point if you collect it. Definitely aim for them if you can to increase your high score. We really liked your temporary ghost idea. That's super cool! and we are definitely going to explore if we can put that in the game for a future update.
