## What is Hop Skip and Thump?

Playful Thump sprites chase Hop and Skip in a tricky turn-based strategy game.

Thump monsters turn what at first appears to be a simple strategy game into something more challenging. You play as Hop against Skip. Jump around the board and outscore Skip to win.  Dodge playful Thump sprites chasing you and blocking your moves. Outsmart Skip on an ever-changing board. Super charming and relaxing, but deceptively tricky with lots of hidden strategies.

You play this turn-based, puzzle-like strategy game as a rabbit named "Hop".  Your opponent is "Skip". The object of the game is to jump around on the game board, score points, and beat Skip. Also on the board are playful AI creatures called “Thump". Some move about randomly while others actively try to block your moves. And beware the red ones. If they touch you, you are thumped and lose a turn.

This game is more difficult than it first seems. To play well, you must account for Skip and the Thump sprites so that you avoid being blocked or forced into bad moves.

Whimsical Strategy-Puzzle game.  Fun for any age.

### 2.2.1 — 2022-04-01

Graphics have been improved. That includes new graphics and animations for rabbits and Thump sprites and a new background scene. Levels 1-10 were changed a little so you do not play the same levels when you upgrade to the premium game.

(1) The game is now in landscape mode with a new background scene.
(2) If you fail a level three consecutive times, you are given the option of selecting a different value for the initial jump, which is usually +3. A different start could help you win.
