The game is pretty simplistic only having three controls but is very fun, has an addictive gameplay loop, and a killer soundtrack. This game is a hidden gem under all the AppStore slop and I hope this game and the developer team behind it receives more recognition in the future. :) P.S. The ad revive is broken ### 3/5 — Good concept but done badly *2024-08-08, version 1.9.2* It’s a unique and original concept and the main game is pretty fun, but the big problem is the variety of characters and weapons, and the money system. The only way to buy characters and weapons is with coins, and it feels grindy and boring to repeatedly hop around for just coins, which you can then use to buy simple characters and weapons that don’t really make the game more fun. There’s no xp system or combo system or anything, and the game progression feels super linear. This game has so much potential, so I look forward to any updates that would improve it. ### 5/5 — Awesome game more people should play *2024-07-19* This game has very little down falls like the slowing down I started to notice a dramatic slow down when I got 1000. Maybe it gets really laggy because it starts to become chaotic near there. Plus why when you fall you can jump and then your character splits in two. Plus the sea fork actually does 4 damage instead of 3. The gameplay is very simple and addictive and the game runs so smoothly. They won’t play ### 5/5 — Endlessly replayable game *2024-04-09, version 1.9.2* The gameplay loop is so awesome, the execution of the concept is astounding, I love the visuals and the art; but most importantly the tangible sense of progression you don’t often get from mobile games. There are hardly any ads- but the few are well timed and are at the ends of extremely long, or consecutive runs. Would love to see more done with this (a Hoppenhelm boss fight would be so cool!) but it’s a breath of fresh air that I’m glad I found on Poki of all sites! And it’s great to see that older reviewers have had their complaints fixed, I’ve honestly never seen that before on the AppStore ### 5/5 — Awesome *2024-02-13, version 1.9.2* You hop and destroy objects in front of you and try to go as far as you can. When you die you begin from the start but keep the money you earned. Which allows you to buy upgrades in form of weapons or new knights. Hoppenhelm is perfect snack sozed gaming session when you're sittin on da toilet or so. Ads are not annoying also not killing the game loop. Been playing it on and off and it stayed great. I understand the monetary needs to have the ads but I’ve already completed with out ads and as there is no furthering characters weapons or worlds to go to, im not sure this was a wise choice. All of the knights and swords to choose from makes the game so strategic but one combination is sort of broken. Plus more enemies like instead of like bats and stuff you could do dragons and evil knights or minatars. On the knights page and on the weapons page you could add a randomizer for the game to pick what character you have. Some things like I would like the the blood sword instead of being 20 be like 10 because 20 when I did 20 I got the heart at like 283.
