I had an immediate suspicion there was an app update or system update at BCBS. Nobody was listening to at the customer service desk. They just read from a script. They get the schedule set and they send me the wrong address so I try to do it on the phone I get connected. I hear nothing. Last minute we get to speak, the call disconnects us both with no way of calling back. I want the money I put down on that back you greedy pigs ### 1/5 — Recent update made the app worse *2026-07-15, version 3.9.0* The most recent update took out an essential feature: the notification section to see which claims were recently processed. Now it’s impossible to know which claims were just processed, as sometimes claims take months to go through. Leave it to Horizon to take out a basic feature that gave users an easy way to view their recently processed claims. ### 1/5 — Ability to Save EOB Removed *2026-04-30, version 3.8.0* I guess Horizon decided it was a little too convenient that you could save your Explanation of Benefits right from the app. So they removed the feature. How lovely. ### 1/5 — Terrible app, huge time waster *2026-02-15, version 3.6.0* Attempting to search for a provider on this app is an exercise in extreme frustration. Backtracking from the detail section on any provider often results in being booted completely from a search, requiring a brand new search to be run, taking one then to the beginning of a provider list anew... again, and again. In 20 minutes I've gotten almost nowhere. Unbelievable that the people at Horizon allowed this app to be published as is. ### 1/5 — Never works *2026-01-27, version 3.6.0* Every.single.time. I have to use the app, it sends me on a wild goose chase to “verify this and that” only to tell me to call customer service. And don’t even bother selecting “remember me” to save your account info. I really appreciate the call backs during each step of the process as I am very ill with a chest cold at the worse time possible.
