It can sometimes take days for my checking account to balance on the app. I will watch it and this long time delay even happens on weekday and not just weekends. ### 1/5 — Recent update -5/18/23 *2023-05-18, version 2023.3.0.1* So I’ve been using this app for probably about 5 years now and I’ve loved it for its simple intuitive interface The recent update has changed that Where once it was easy to see your accounts and make transfers, manage them and pay them off now that setting is hidden in a sub-menu and the opening page is filled with reviewing their policy with no way to dismiss or readdress Until they have updated it again I would strongly recommend avoiding this app It’s a mess right now ### 1/5 — Closed account without notice- WORST BANK *2023-03-24, version 2022.9.2.1* Worst bank ever. Paid for payment protection for years in case of emergency’s and had back surgery they closed my visa account and never contacted me. I’ve had this bank for years and I’ve never been treated so poorly. Even the lady emailing me never mentioned who to call and they’re still billing me for the protection payment insurance even after they closed my visa worst bank ever.! User friendly! Love my horizon and the staff ladies at the Spokane valley location know me by name and are always so professional and kind. My work hours prevent me from making it to a physical location so I can only deposit over the app. This is honestly the worst app I’ve used yet for banking and it makes me want to take my service elsewhere. **Please note, the actual human being that work for this establishment are amazing and I love them... but I need an app that works and this one just doesn’t cut it.** ### 1/5 — Fraudulent activity *2021-04-15, version 6.5.5.34* I was notified of a fraudulent debit card purchase and agreed it was indeed an unauthorized purchase. I put it in before you close and yet it’s never there until Saturday morning or Monday even. Getting real annoying. I’m about to switch to a different bank. It’s like they went back to the 1990’s and chose the cheapest option for the platform. ### 1/5 — Unable to make payments *2026-01-16, version 2025.10.1.5* It should not be this hard to set up payments. I had to create 3 different logins and talked to two separate people on how to access the “app” and then had to use a different portal to set up the payments. I was told I can’t make payments through the app it’s self and that setting up automatic payments and then making additional payments ontop makes it glitch. That rather I need to set up my additional payments on the automatic payments. Let alone that I will have to go find this separate domain to be able to do it! This is the worst online banking service I’ve ever had and I regret using this bank for a loan. ### 1/5 — New Update *2025-08-07, version 2025.5.0.1* This new update is ridiculous. Do you guys even run this by members when testing it! I highly doubt it. Nothing wrong with the previous design. ### 1/5 — Update: downgraded quality *2025-07-31, version 2025.5.0.1* Latest update is going backwards in capability. The one useful compact view once you log in is now filled with giant text and so much white space you have to scroll to see all of your accounts. Other config pages that should scroll do not. Some tools do not need constant updates. ### 1/5 — Widget hasn’t been updated for iOS 18 *2024-10-12, version 2024.04.11* There was a banking widget for iOS 15 that allowed you to put a widget showing your account balances on your phones screen, no need to open app and log in, with the new iOS the widget no longer exists. Like any app it has had some issues but they do a great job improving it and adding really easy to use products/services. The ability to apply for any loan they offer in the app is a great addition and pre-pulls across all your data making the process quick and easy. Their money management tool has also helped me budget better by being able to link my outside accounts to it as well and setting goals for different aspects of spending.
