### 4/5 — My favorite tracker

*2026-07-15*

Like the title suggests this is probably my favorite period tracker ever. This application is very sleek and offers a lot even when free. My favorite of these features would be the discussion because I feel like discussions among us girls is SO important. The only thing is I wish there was a one time purchase for the locked features 😢.

### 3/5 — A Promising Option

*2026-03-01, version 2.105.1*

This is my first time using a period tracking app and I do like it, I just wish I didn’t have to pay for anything provided in the app.

### 3/5 — Wish there was a widget

*2026-01-18*

I think this app is brilliant in concept but I wish there was a widget option for easier access for tracking. Also the symptom chart is hard to read. For how much you pay, these things should be seamless.

**Developer response:** Hi there! Thank you for your great feedback, we will take it forward for planning. All the best,

Hormona Team

### 4/5 — Lots of good but

*2025-12-18, version 2.98.0*

It has lots of good features but the ease of access to some key features that I value made me favour a different app. Eg. the ability to take notes each day is part of the log but hidden right at the end. To me this is the most important part and should be first. Additionally the calendar while it has a link on the main page it would be good to have a summary of the dates there and be more visually accessible. I love the ability to personalise the symptoms and the symptom categories are well thought out.

### 2/5 — Could just use Apple Health instead

*2025-12-17, version 2.98.0*

This app is absolutely useless as you can use Apple Health instead which basically has the same function. Has a lot of things like recommending you to buy supplements which is another corporate lie in itself, and the monthly fees are overpriced. Just don’t waste your money on this and go to your doctors instead for actual professional advice

### 2/5 — Have to subscribe?

*2025-08-20, version 2.84.0*

If there’s still a free version of Hormona out there, I couldn’t find it. Tried just to create an account and it won’t even let you look at the app without choosing and paying for a subscription.

### 4/5 — Raving about this app

*2025-06-25*

Only it four stars because the other app was able to track my hormones and get updates while I was pregnant as well. This one does not have any options that I can see to keep me up-to-date that way. But for the fact that I’ve only been pregnant twice and been learning about my cycle and cycle sinking for the last five years this app has been the most. Helpful in the fact that it gives me a good visual graph of where my hormones are at, physical updates and nutritional advice (and recipes), according to where I’m predicted to be at in my cycle. Worth every penny.

### 3/5 — Used it to get pregnant but can’t log it

*2025-05-19*

I like a lot about this app. I followed the nutrition suggestions guidelines for each phase of my cycle and it helped me get pregnant!! What is silly is I can’t log I’m pregnant so it’s just sitting there waiting for me to log a period. A man definitely created this app. lol😜

**Developer response:** Hi there,

Thank you for your review, and for using Hormona! The app is not adapted specifically to pregnancy, however you can switch to "no period" mode by going to Settings -> Profile settings -> Cycle regularity, and changing the setting. Feel free to reach out to hello@hormona.io if you have any further questions or suggestions of improvements!

### 5/5 — Life Changing

*2025-03-29*

Hormona has helped me understand all the changes my body goes through in one month - hormones at work in my body and how they can impact my day. It’s incredibly validating to know. Then to know I’m not alone on days that I feel drained and low, it’s normal considering the hormones at work. The app gives suggestions that help with how to exercise (sometimes our female bodies need less intense work outs or it can raise the cortisol in our body). It’s helped me with nutrition - what certain hormones need via organic raw food options, recipes, and vitamins to stay balanced and how to cleanse the body of old hormones so they don’t get stored in the body. I’ve noticed less discomfort in my body during ovulation and PMS - less pain and inflammation. Some symptoms that I had I’ve not experienced since using this app and following through with their advice. I really love this app, there’s an option to share phases your body is going through with your partner or whomever you might live in closest proximity with. This has been so helpful so I can show my spouse and kids what’s happening in my body. “it’s not you it’s me” look I can proof it with my app. 😆 thank you!
The app functions well and works with ease.

### 5/5 — Best hormone/period tracker

*2025-03-29, version 2.74.0*

I really appreciate this app! It’s the only one I could find that allows me track multiple factors such as my emotions and a plethora of physical symptoms. I love the graphics which show where I am in my cycle. I also have never been able to find an app where I can type in my own notes, which is a small thing but I find so important

### 4/5 — Hormona

*2025-03-13*

I really am enjoying this app. It’s got good insights. Helps with tracking a lot of symptoms. It’s educational even for my husband who decided he wanted email updates on my upcoming phase/symptoms. I love that it gives star foods to help support my hormones.
My only complaint is that I wish there were more recipe options. And I wish there was a section where I could put in my food preferences. And a meal planning section. Where I choose meals to make and put it inside an organized tab. More support for recipes, meal planning, and food preferences. Otherwise this app is great! Enjoying the features out does offer ☺️

### 5/5 — Informative, helpful to understand my symptoms and simple to use.

*2025-03-05, version 2.72.0*

Really visually reader friendly. Very informative and helping me understand my body perimenopause symptoms and what to do to ease. The offer for a reduced price is great and I would love to purchase the whole access areas if this could just be monthly payments and not one lump sum for the offer

### 4/5 — I love this app!

*2025-03-05, version 2.72.0*

This app is super helpful, unfortunately a lot of features are paid but it’s a really great app. I do wish though that there was a function that could account for coming off or going on contraceptives, and the irregularity that can come with that.

### 3/5 — I thought I'd finally found the perfect app after hours of searching

*2025-01-29*

All of the breathwork, meals, sharing cycle with a partner, all of that being behind a pay wall I was fine with and understand.

But my analytics?? That's unacceptable! Please fix that immediately. I'm so upset. I should have known this app was too good to be true. The most important part of cycle tracking and it's behind a paywall...

### 5/5 — Life changing app!

*2025-01-21, version 2.69.0*

Growing up, I never understood what was going on in my body during my cycle. It made me anxious not knowing when my period was going to happen or if my PMS symptoms were normal. This app helped validate what I was experiencing was normal and that it was ok to take rest days. Thank you for creating this app and making it accessible for women!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — App not working

*2026-01-20, version 2.102.0*

I started using Hormona last month . The app is very user unfriendly. It does not log my cycle date . Whenever I enter the periods date the app gets stuck and doesn’t work . I spent lots of money on its subscription. Can you please unsubscribe me and refund my money , I don’t want to continue . Please contact me or give me the relevant person contact details to log my complaint

### 1/5 — Flaw app

*2025-12-01, version 2.96.0*

The app so far has not been very user-friendly every time I’ve complete my profile it automatically deletes sections, leaving my profile not 100% completed so I have to go back redo each one and save each time. And it is still not 100% completed. I got the hormone testing strips in the mail when I scan the QR code that was in the box, it takes me to their website for the pills to buy there is no user-friendly way to find where you’re supposed to put your testing strips in the app. I have not been able to find them so I don’t know how I’m supposed to take these strips and put them in the app. There is a QR code on the sticks and when I scan them that just takes me to the website and not the app how can this be fixed? What am I doing wrong this is getting very very annoying.

### 1/5 — Never accessed the app

*2025-11-16, version 2.94.0*

Could never login, every time I tried it just stalled and I logged in over and over through Apple and nothing ever happened. Then when I tried using a different method it wouldn’t let me because it said I already signed up.

### 1/5 — App Is Not Free?

*2025-08-14*

I was really looking forward to trying out this app as it seemed fitting for me, however after I completed my sign up process and everything, it's asking me to subscribe to a yearly or monthly payment plan which I don't wish to proceed with. There's no way to close out of that page. I also closed the app and then opened it again, but it's still not letting me past that page. Dissappointed.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2024-11-27, version 2.62.0*

I signed up for the app’s free trial to test its features, but decided it wasn’t the right fit for me. I tried to cancel during the trial period, butI was still charged for a full year’s subscription.

### 1/5 — Date is messed up

*2024-11-25, version 2.61.4*

When I went to do the dates it was a day off from the weekdays so my last period was on Friday November 1 but it said Thursday November 1???

### 1/5 — Celibate women? Queer women? Infertile women? Childfree women?

*2024-06-24*

I downloaded this app because i have irregular cycles & wanted to document for my dr, but nothing is becoming more annoying than this app telling me I'm pregnant every month. You’re a cycle app for women and you have no other insight to give about a late period then telling them they’re probably pregnant? Of all the information, you have nothing else to offer? After 6 months, I’ve decided to delete. If you just want to document your cycle, apple health is enough.

### 1/5 — It has major issues

*2024-03-27, version 2.33.0*

The app is not working properly. Half of the things they promote are not working. My cycle is never in the right day. It is not helpful at all and not worth the price. The app needs major work.

### 1/5 — SPAM APPLICATION

*2024-03-25, version 2.33.0*

It just showed as advertisement. I did not purchase a plan and yet it billed me $90.39 ?! How come? Do not install this. This will steal your money! What do you think of 90.39, an easy money?!

### 1/5 — Can’t change period time

*2024-01-29, version 2.27.0*

I’m usually have a normal cycle but I occasionally I miss my birth control and get a suprise period. I tried to change my cycle in the app but couldn’t find a way to do that. Not sure if that’s an option. It’s crazy it’s so hard to do. I emailed for help and never got an answer.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Sehr ausschlussreich

*2026-05-22, version 2.114.0*

Super spannende Auswertung. Tolles Periodendiagramm.

### 5/5 — Absolutely love this app

*2026-04-18*

The app is very personal and doesn’t just track your period. There’s real time support in app and a lot of information on hand about hormones, diet, menopause, menstrual cycle and a lot more. It has a lot of free resources and information. Spot on. You can also adjust it if you have things like hypothyroidism. The premium is very worth it if you can afford it. And they also have a hormone tester you can purchase and track it in the app. I always forgot about my other apps and never clocked my period. This one has reminders that aren’t pesty and annoying. My favorite feature is that my boyfriend can also see my tracking without downloading the app. I didn’t even name all of its features. I highly recommend checking it out. Thank you to the devs and the team for this resource. Woman’s health is really important and isn’t taken seriously enough.

### 5/5 — Nice to Know

*2026-04-03*

I’m turning 39 this year and have never used an app of this design before. I like how clean the interface is and how the language feels when I read it. I can correct my own behavior and thoughts around my cycle for a better overall feeling.

### 5/5 — Much needed!

*2026-03-26, version 2.108.0*

I love the amount of information I receive through this app. It has been more helpful on my journey of cycle syncing.

### 5/5 — Best thing ever!!!!

*2025-10-29*

This app is definitely the best one I’ve ever used and has awesome features that make me feel comfortable about, well, everything. I really like the log and the community tab section. When I logged in first I happened to be under 13 so they had to kick me out but they still answered all my question and made everything nice and clear for me why. It’s cool and the daily update thingy is pretty accurate a majority of the time too! This was literally so coooool! And again, the community thing is really awesome. I’m not one for talking about my period or what not but I actually feel really comfortable asking questions about everything there. Love this app so much totally recommend~~~ 💝😊😊

I hear a lotta people talking about the subscription but really, that’s how you know it legit. Anything that’s completely free and good is probably selling all your info on the black market. After a while and you memorize your data and hormones you prob don’t need it, but it’s worth the extra dollar until then.

### 5/5 — Pretty nice.

### 5/5 — LOVE!!

*2025-09-10, version 2.87.0*

Love the app! so helpful! the more I log my symptoms, the more accurate the app is. It has gotten to the point where the app will tell me that I’m probably going to feel a certain way and I can mentally prepare myself for that. It also gives you advice on how to improve your life based on how you’re feeling, because we can’t control how we feel, but we can control how we act upon our feelings. I really hope they keep the updates up because it just keeps on getting better and better! Thanks so much for the creators of this app! Xoxoxo

### 5/5 — Love it!!

*2025-05-05, version 2.76.0*

This app is the best!!!! Ever ❤️☯️ helped improve and give me so many insights on my hormonal health

### 5/5 — Thanks

*2025-04-11, version 2.75.0*

Not perfect, but def helpful. Everyone’s body is different. I have PCOS so my cycles are wonky sometimes. This is a nice tool. 10/10 recommend.

### 5/5 — Every woman should have this app!

*2025-04-03, version 2.75.0*
