## What is Horse Collar?

Horse Collar is a fast, social trick-taking card game from Youngstown, Ohio. Every round is five quick tricks: call IN to play or OUT to sit it out, win your tricks, and whatever you do — don't get stuck with the collar. Lowest score wins.

Play a quick game solo against clever bots, or host a room and play live with friends. No account, no sign-up — just a room code and you're dealing.

HOW IT PLAYS
• Five tricks a round, with a trump suit each deal
• Go IN or OUT before the round — but get "set" with zero tricks and you take the penalty
• Redraw to improve your hand, read the table, and chase the lowest score
• First to zero wins; ties break on who took the fewest collars

• Single player vs. smart bots — fully offline
• Online multiplayer for 2–6 players with a simple room code
• Classic, Quick, or fully Custom rules — tune the starting score, set penalty, zone, and trump rules to match your table

• New "Spades double" house rule for Custom games: when spades are trump, the round counts double.

• Your Stats are now permanent and keep counting every game, even after older games roll out of History.
• Small polish: clearer redraw button and a confirmation before leaving a room you're hosting.
