### 4/5 — Adjusting mileage

*2026-08-10, version 4.3.4*

I would like to be able to adjust the mileage for lack of signal, we have tested it multiple times and the person I ride with is right beside me and we gets different mileage occasionally. When you go to change the title of the ride, it would be nice to be able to change the distance if there is any discrepancy in mileage.

### 4/5 — Perfect Almost !!!!

*2026-07-02, version 4.3.3*

Only thing I’d add is a way to add if you for get to start it.

### 3/5 — Good, but asks for money

*2026-03-25, version 4.3.1*

Good basics but a lot of the features are only available through a subscription.

### 5/5 — Great, simple app

*2025-09-01, version 4.2.38*

This is a straightforward informative app that lets me track my rides. I especially like how easy it is to start from my watch as I’m getting on the horse. Fumbling with a phone or watch is not so easy with gloves and a 1200 pound animal. I really appreciate the good data and simple design.

### 5/5 — Riding Tracker

*2025-07-15, version 4.2.36*

It is great and is very helpful with my riding sessions. Compatible with Apple Watch! Great find!

### 5/5 — Great and useful app

*2024-12-18*

This is a good app, it’s got a lot of useful details that it tracks. My only gripes are
- It doesn’t seem to understand elevation gain. Elevation gain is meant to be the cumulative elevation that was gained during the ride. In other words, it should add together each time that you gain elevation, not accounting for elevation loss. Elevation loss is the same concept but for losing elevation. Not sure what the app is doing to get that number, but it’s not that. Not a big deal, you can get your real elevation gain/loss using the chart it provides and just adding it manually. But this would be ideal to fix so people don’t have to do the math themselves.
- The profile pics for your horses stretch weirdly if you don’t use a perfectly square photo. Easy to work around by cropping the photo square first but worth noting to fix.

Otherwise I really like this app.

### 4/5 — Please add new feature

*2024-11-25*

A feature that would allow you to add different horses to a ride for when other people are riding your horses with you.
I got this app to track my horses training but now im faced with this silly problem lol!
So like youd add the horse you were riding (main horse) then add the other horses so it would track there km, time, and distance. but not speed for them since the app was tracking the main horses speed.

### 5/5 — Hacking out

*2024-07-11*

I love hacking out on my beautiful Appaloosa gelding Alias Blue FOX
He’s 24 and been together since he was 4. I ride him bitless, shoeless, and western saddle plus he’s now totally blind
I’m getting older too so we don’t go as far now but up to 2 hours along our lovely Devon lanes. Most drivers around here are very thoughtful and I’ve been lucky to have some wonderful rides

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2024-05-22*

Love it, it’s helping with my horses rehab.

### 5/5 — Fantastic only one issue

*2024-04-27, version 4.2.26*

The hoof shoe on the calendar does not have a hyperlink to click through to the date and then bring up detail of that spesific ride. I want to click on the show on the day of rescue and directly take you to the detail

### 5/5 — Fab app

*2024-04-24, version 4.2.26*

I love this app. It’s great for looking back on rides and monitoring horse fitness, also sharing stats easily if riding other peoples’ horses. Interesting to see top speeds. User friendly, and now compatible with my Apple Watch, which is new

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2024-04-18, version 4.2.26*

Awesome

### 5/5 — Fabulous technology

*2024-04-11, version 4.2.25*

Great app! I’m riding cross country and it’s good to know my distance for the day. I started in sat. Augustine and will be traveling over 3,000 miles to Seattle area in 8 months. The app will help me track the miles and route I take.

### 5/5 — Gait tracking

*2024-03-13, version 4.2.24*

I wish the gait tracking part of the app would track based on cadence and not on speed. Some horses can canter or lope the same speed, another horse trots.

### 5/5 — Shahin

*2024-03-10, version 4.2.24*

Great App. Love the features. Very easy to use

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Used to be great, now no longer tracks

*2025-10-04, version 4.3.0*

Used to love this app but the last few times I went to ride I couldn’t get it to actually track miles. It tracked time but not distance.

### 1/5 — Never free for iPhone

*2025-09-01, version 4.2.38*

I’m really unhappy with the riding tracker, EquiLab, so I’m looking for a new one. However, horse riding tracker is free for android users apparently, but subscription only for Apple users. What’s up with that?

### 1/5 — Langue

*2025-06-03*

Il n’y a que de l’anglais….

### 1/5 — Billing

*2025-04-23, version 4.2.34*

I was billed after one day after the trial period started. This is not allowed in USA. You can hold the info but not deduct from personal account until the trial period is over!!!! I canceled it the next day after seeing the money already taken out of my account!!!

### 1/5 — Great app but greedy developers

*2024-03-05*

If you try and go for the one week free trial they automatically charge you the fee! I thought the purpose of the trial is to test out the app before having to pay.

### 1/5 — Just ok

*2023-04-28*

First of all I did not know every time you want to review your ride they would try and make you pay money. Bare bones app do having to constantly be bugged to pay to just see your first ride on the app

### 1/5 — Cannot cancel subscription

*2023-01-24*

I have been set up on auto renew and each year am unable to cancel the subscription!!!!

**Developer response:** Hello, here is a link with explanation how to cancel subscriptions: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039

Please let me know if it helps?

### 1/5 — Stopped tracking after two years

*2023-01-10, version 4.2.6*

I had the paid subscription because I liked tracking the mileage and maps from my rides. However a few months ago it started showing errors related to lost access “due to low resources”. I emailed the developer and after one response from them there was no further reply nor has a fix been provided during the last few updates. I’ve now canceled my subscription and am moving to another app.

### 1/5 — Tracking interrupted

*2022-08-01, version 4.1.24*

I have had this app since 2018 and have really enjoyed it until this spring (2022). Now every time I go to use it, the tracking will quit shortly after my ride starts and it always says “due to low system resources”

I loved this app for capturing my rides on a satellite map and to keep track of mileage. It’s very important to me that I ride at least 150 miles a month and this was the only app I used to keep track of that.

I have used this app in the back country many times, where there’s no phone service and my phone is in airplane mode. I thought it was so cool that when I got my signal back, the ride would load up and I could see what I did! There were many great features on this app I enjoyed.

I have tried to reach out and find a solution to this problem without success and it has cost me 3 months of tracking. I’m disappointed to say that I will be looking for other options for tracking rides now.

### 1/5 — Beware trial subscription

*2019-08-01*

I downloaded this app for the 1 week trial that is offered with automatic 1 year subscription. However after using the App I was disappointed with it (there was no way to edit sessions when I forgot to end them, it often miss labeled my horses gaits etc. ) and I didn’t want it. In the App I couldn’t find anyway to cancel my subscription and I was still charged for the year subscription that I didn’t want. I tried contacting the owner via email provided on iTunes and got no response. This is a scam to get people signed up and paying for subscriptions they don’t want. I DO NOT recommend you try this. There are far better free apps available that don’t trick you out of your money with automatic subscriptions you can’t cancel.

**Developer response:** Hello,

Sorry, I haven't got your email and I reply to all emails I receive. Just checked my inbox again to make sure. You can contact me by writing email to: rozga.wojtek@gmail.com

Unfortunately you can't cancel subscription directly in app because it's how it works on iOS. To manage subscriptions you have to go to App Store, click on the circle in the top right corner and click "Manage subscriptions" for all apps you're subscribed to, there you can cancel it.

Please write me an email to: rozga.wojtek@gmail.com and I will gladly give you a refund for this subscription. This app IS NOT designed to trick you out for your money and I will gladly give it back to you if you're not satisfied with this app.

Best regards,
Wojciech Rozga

Even with a yearly subscription fee, this is still the best App we have used to track miles. Supports multiple horses, gives detailed feedback on your ride and your health. I recommend this to everyone at the barn, it’s a great app! Love that the photos sync up to during the tracked ride. Seriously great app!!
