## What is Hortus?

Ever wonder what "partial sun" or "partial shade" really means when you buy a plant?

Find each plant's DLI or Daily Light Integral!
With a quantum sensor or PAR meter and this app, you can check to ensure you plants are getting enough light, too much light, or not enough. You can check areas of your yard and figure out what plants will grow best according to the light each area receives.

There's also a DLI to PPFD converter.

Track your plants environmental conditions for optimal growth and health. Charting your VPD allows you to ensure your plants can breathe by setting the correct humidity and temperature for your plants.

Drying plants or flowers?
Chart the drying process to ensure you dry your plant material properly.

When should you harvest?
A question every home grower faces. Now available in Beta, Hortus Ai Trichome Analyzer!

What's wrong with your plant?
Like me, don't have a green thumb?
Available in Alpha, a very early release of Hortus Ai Plant Health Analyzer!

Finally, journal your plants growth by using the Hortus Notes section.
You can create notes. Add an image and/or URL to a note. Color code notes.

There's also a share link; in case you enjoy the Hortus and want to inform others.

How do you get the data to put into Hortus?
DLI requires a PAR meter or quantum sensor.

VPD requires a hygrometer for reading air temperature and relative humidity and a laser temperature gun for leaf temperature.
Connect Govee H5075 & H5101 hygrometers and AC Infinity 69 Pro Controllers via Bluetooth.

Dry charting requires a wood or hay moisture meter. Hay moisture meters have much longer probes to avoid damaging the Flower.
All available on Amazon.

Contact your friends or find help on the Hortus Messenger app with voice and video calling! all encrypted end-to-end!
