Ich schreibe nicht viele Rezensionen, aber in diesem Fall muss ich eine Ausnahme machen.

Ich benutze seit langem das DigitalSTROM System und bin mit der Funktionalität davon sehr zufrieden. Allerdings ist die App und die Steuerung der Komponenten über ein Dashboard nicht so toll wie das eigentliche System. Deshalb war ich lange auf der Suche nach einer Möglichkeit, dies über ein Dashboard hübscher und schneller zu nutzen. Meine Experimente mit Home Assistant und anderen do it yourself Lösungen waren nie so richtig erfolgreich. Zumal ich versuche, gleichzeitig HomeKit Komponenten, insbesondere Sensoren, in ein Zusammenspiel mit digitalSTROM zu führen.

Hier setzt HOS sehr gut an. Die Möglichkeit hier eigene Bilder oder Raumpläne zu hinterlegen, macht die Nutzung von Smart Homegeräten intuitiv und somit auch für Nicht-Programmierer sehr leicht.
Das Einbinden von DigitalStrom funktioniert tadellos und umfasst sowohl Komponenten als auch Szenen und sogar Benutzerdefinierte Handlungen. Alles lässt sich mit einem der vielen Steuerungsymbole, die übrigens frei auf dem Bildschirm platziert werden können, hervorragend koppeln. Die Reaktionszeit der digitalSTROM Elemente ist zufriedenstellend, aber mit 1 Sekunde Wartezeit muss man rechnen. Positiv ist es, dass sowohl das Dimmen als auch bei Rollläden, das teilweise Herunterfahren über HOS gut funktioniert.
HomeKit Kameras lassen sich problemlos einbinden, andere Kamerasystem wohl auch, aber das muss ich noch testen (Update folgt).

Besonders praktisch ist es, dass auf der HOS Oberfläche sowohl digitalSTROM, als auch HomeKit völlig frei kombinierbar sind und somit durch den Einsatz von HOS beide Systeme hervorragend verschmelzen. Dabei ist zu beachten, dass die Statusanzeige (ob zum Beispiel Licht ein oder ausgeschaltet ist) nur für die HomeKit Komponenten dargestellt wird.
Das stellt also auch den einzigen Wermutstropfen in diesem System dar, denn zur Überprüfung des Gerätestatus lässt sich HOS bei digitalSTROM nicht gut nutzen.

Deshalb verdient das System bei mir viereinhalb Sterne. 

Aber was es zu einer uneingeschränkten fünf Sterne Empfehlung macht, ist der Service durch die sehr netten und freundlichen Mitarbeiter bei HOS. Auf meine Anfrage wurde zügig und sehr umfassend geantwortet und mit vielen wertvollen Tipps angereichert. Das ist nicht selbstverständlich und in jedem Fall weitere Sterne wert.
Ich hoffe, der Entwickler steckt noch etwas Mühe in die Statusmeldungen / Animationen bei digitalSTROM, denn damit wäre es eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung und fast verpflichtende App für jeden digitalSTROM Nutzer.

The interface is good for native digital strom.

The workflow is a little bit slow and bulky (why I have to log in everytime I want to assign a new light from dss?)

I have over 60 hue lamps, I can’t control any of them.

I expect that all lights I control via dss are available in the app

**Developer response:** Dear Sir, Now with this new Version you don't need to log in for every Device you assign cause the informations of the first one would apply to all the other devices .. so all you have to do is just keep the same login informations intact and just assign the new device ... it is remain hidden though. Still we allow you to add the login informations for the new devices if you wish and this is very useful if you ever have a device from another Dss like another house even in another city or may be in an upper floor locally , Have A Good Day
