## What is Hospice mobile?

Hospice Mobile is an app for patient and caregiver use that includes:
-Keep track of a loved ones vitals without having to write them down
-Having easy access to patients' information such as vitals and last time of medication given
-Having easy-to-read education on proper care of patients at home at a 3rd grade level
-Improving the confidence of patients caregivers to care for their loved ones at home
-Decrease family anxiety through having easy access to educational videos done by a real nurse

### 2.1 — 2022-12-28

Users are expected to register through the app. If they are registering with a hospice company, the monthly subscription will be charged to the hospice company. In order for customers to log in through the hospice company, they will be asked to put in a unique code specific to each hospice that will grant them immediate access to the app. (Code may be patient-specific as well to help hospice company end subscription when the app is no longer needed). Once logged in, the user will be able to input their loved ones vitals on a daily or hourly basis and be able to keep track of how their vitals progress on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Additionally, users will have access to unique how to videos that explain the complex tasks of cleaning their loved ones, and using oxygen, suction, and nebulizer machines. Users will also be able to keep tract of, edit, and delete “as needed” medications. The simple function of the apps allows for easy tracking of when the next “as needed” dose can be given.
