But the controls are a bit off. It’s difficult to accurately move patients around, and a lot of the time the game doesn’t recognize when I’ve tapped a patient for treatment; this will lead you to failing levels sooner or not being able to earn as much as patient’s pay less the longer it takes for you to treat them. There aren’t a ton of levels, and you will absolutely never earn enough gems to even come close to upgrading everything. I finished the game and was only able to max out 2/5 doctors and none of the nearly 20 pieces of equipment. It didn’t help that for about 20% of the stages, I wasn’t awarded the gems for maxing out the levels. Again, it’s entertaining, but definitely don’t put money into it as it’s buggy and you will finish all the stages fairly quickly. ### 4/5 — Felling nostalgic *2025-07-23* I love this game because it’s almost exactly like the first game Hospital story pixels which I’m pretty sure inspired this game. The other game is no longer on the App Store but I remember playing it while I was younger. The reason for the 4 stars is because the first game was better, gameplay wise, better characters, better animations. This one seems simpler than the counter part.
