So if y’all wanna stay here it’s the place too be !!! Thank y’all for the wonderful stay ### 1/5 — Worst place I’ve ever stayed. *2021-04-24, version 1.4.13* Was so excited to rent this place only to be harassed all night with unnecessary complaints. First is was music which we turned off then it was sounds of furniture moving. Well we have to move the chairs to sit at the dining room table. Then we were told we couldn’t watch tv after 9pm. I understand about no noise after 9 but I felt like I had to tiptoe around the place because the last complaint was loud walking with a threat to be thrown out by police. I paid $2100 for 2 nights and would have felt more welcome at motel 6. I didn’t even stay my second day. I checked out as soon as I woke up. Especially because I couldn’t turn the tv on until 8 am. They can keep the money. I am soooo upset. What I really want to say can’t be said. The furniture was dirty and chairs peeling horribly. My husband has bedbug bites after lying on the couch. The dresser is damaged significantly. I’m just outdone. ### 4/5 — Loved it!!! *2020-06-27, version 1.4.13* Very good location! Enjoyed this place. Very convenient and short Lift/Uber ride to where ever you want to go. The unit could have been a little cleaner when we arrived. When we arrived had a smoke smell. The a/c and fan lighting controls were complicated to set. Fan light came on in middle of night (3am) each night of our stay, wasn’t sure how to fix that. Plenty of room for our family of 4. Very safe environment! Walking distance to great restaurants, Ice cream shop (a must to treat yourself) and more. Definitely would stay here again! ### 1/5 — AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE *2020-06-19, version 1.4.13* Booked a whole house for a few nights to celebrate a graduation. I don’t live in Louisiana but I am originally from there so I still have a LA state ID and phone number. Booked through AirBnb and was confirmed. One hour before I was supposed to check in the company says that due to a new policy implemented the same day I would need to pay a security deposit to them which was not listed on their Airbnb listing and is also against Airbnb’s policy. Turns out the deposit they wanted was $500 which is outrageous especially one hour before I was supposed to check in. I asked the customer service rep if there was anyway to avoid it and was told if I didn’t want to pay it I could just cancel the reservation all together. Extremely rude to tell someone cancel when traveling for a deposit that was not disclosed anywhere in writing ONE HOUR BEFORE CHECK IN. I reluctantly paid the $500 deposit which I was told would be refunded 48hrs after check-in. The actual property was decent but not perfect and had some imperfections which I documented on video just to be safe. When we finally checked out....THEY DID NOT RETURN MY $500 DEPOSIT! I called the customer service and was told they would need to speak to a manager and that it should be ok and to just wait. Subsequent calls I have made have been unanswered. I had to call both the BBB and AirBnb to try to get my money back. NEVER BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! ### 1/5 — OV E216 Myrtle Beach *2020-06-14, version 1.4.13* Friends and I booked a week or so out for a long weekend in Myrtle beach. The photos made the place look perfect for our group of five. Once we arrived we quickly noticed how small the unit was and although is had enough room to sleep, the mattresses were very uncomfortable. In addition, there was only one extra pillow and a sheet for our friend sleeping on the pull out sofa. The floors were very dirty and the master bathroom was so small you could barely turn around. I have many more things to say but I would just really evaluate what you consider adequate accommodations (for the price) when booking this unit. ### 4/5 — E216 Ocean Forest Villas, Myrtle Bch SC *2020-06-05, version 1.4.13* 2 bd 2 ba condo, 2nd flr unit. Check-In was smooth as I received the instructions 24 hrs prior. The unit is newly remodeled, beautifully. It has a nice balcony w ocean views and it is the closest unit to the BBQ grilling area. That was very convenient as we grilled every day. The kitchen was beautiful, stainless appliances, fully adorned w plates, glasses, silverware, stemless wine glasses, pots, pans, baking dishes, etc. Living room and master bedroom had nice tv’s, equipped w Roku so you could log into any of your own streaming services. I vacationed here during covid so I have no comments about the pool or jacuzzi/spa as those were closed, neither of which is under the control of the condo’s owner or Hosteeva. Recommendations to owner: 1. Put a TV in the 2nd bedroom. 2. Shower Water pressure in both bathrooms could use some work if it’s something you could improve. The ladies had issues w rinsing out their hair. 3. I forgot to return to the fridge one of the parking permits. I’ll mail it to you. Please don’t hit me w a $20 replacement fee. :) It was a lovely stay. I’ll be booking for this location and this unit again. Thank you very much! ### 5/5 — Awesome!!!!!! *2020-04-09, version 1.4.13* Everything was just as described. There was a little confusion at check in being that there were two buildings side by side for the entire unit . Everything was clean and neat and there were no issues . The representatives were very helpful and they kept the room spotless! There was a beach right across the street and water activities for us to do . We were only about 30-45 minutes away from South beach Miami. It was awesome ! The view was great . We will definitely be booking again!!!! ### 1/5 — Coronavirus pandemic and no refund for nurses *2020-03-20, version 1.4.13* Our group of NURSES goes on an annual get together. But our stay falls into the 30 day home/self quarantine and no social gatherings April 3-6. The whole nation is pretty much shut down. Plus we are being called to work due to our other peers contracting the virus. But We are not able to get a refund or waiver on cancellation fees!!! Only rebooking is an option????!!!!. Even in a worldwide epidemic money is all that matters and humanity has failed. Very, very, very dissatisfied and disappointed in this global company. ### 2/5 — Not your Standard Hotel *2020-03-19, version 1.4.13* Had to go out of town unexpectedly so I needed a hotel pretty quickly. Did a search through Expedia for area hotels and the Atlantic Station Exchange popped up with an incredible rate. To make a very long story and a difficult process short, beware of the hidden fees, be prepared for a room that may not be all the way cleaned and no type of hotel accommodations whatsoever. This should be labeled as a AirBnB and not a hotel. I gave 2 stars because it was a nice apartment and somewhat quiet. I will from now on stick with the original hotels and not try “something new with a low rate”. If AirBnBs is your thing, this is your place. But beware of the hidden fees. ### 1/5 — Orange Beach- Summerhouse *2020-02-15, version 1.4.13* Upset! Got to location without any knowledge of how to check in until I finally got a hold of someone via chat for Hosteeva. Process took way too long, as we were tired and ready to check in! Once in, unit was sub par, little hot water in bathrooms, cabinet under kitchen sink was literally hanging on one screw hinge and there were missing lightbulbs. Contacted Hosteeva to let them know about lightbulbs. Also asked for late check out due to stress and issues with no help. We will not be using them again. Was NOT relaxing and it’s the first time I’ve been to the beach when I actually couldn’t wait to get home. Only positive was the view was amazing and the master bedroom bed was comfortable. Security guy felt sorry for us upon check in and was very very nice but not affiliated with Hosteeva.
