## What is HostPass?

HostPass turns word-of-mouth into paid referrals for nightlife and hospitality.

Concierges, drivers, hotel staff, and promoters send guests to partner venues. When the guest actually shows up and is checked in, the referrer earns a payout. No guesswork, no chasing anyone for cash.

FOR REFERRERS
• Browse venues that are accepting referrals right now
• Send a guest in seconds: name, party size, expected arrival
• Track every referral from sent, to accepted, to checked in
• Watch earnings land in your wallet as guests arrive
• Transfer your balance to your bank when you're ready

FOR VENUES
• Fund a referral balance and set what a guest is worth
• Accept or decline incoming referrals
• Check guests in at the door, confirming they arrived
• See exactly which referrals drove traffic, and what it cost

HOW PAYOUTS WORK
Venues pre-fund their referral balance, so the money is there before a guest walks in. Payouts are calculated at check-in and settle to the referrer's account. Payments and bank transfers are handled by Stripe.

HostPass is invite-only while we onboard our first venues.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3.4 — 2026-10-28

Venues can now set different payout rates by gender in payout settings. Referrers enter their party's count by gender, and the door confirms who arrived at check-in.

### 1.3.3 — 2026-10-26

Your wallet now shows earnings waiting for you as soon as a guest checks in, even before you finish payout setup.

### 1.3.2 — 2026-10-15

Venues can now show a QR code to invite a referrer on the spot, no email or phone number needed. They scan it with their phone camera and sign up in a minute. Staff invites have a QR code too.

### 1.3.1 — 2026-09-22

Venues: add funds and withdraw unused balance in the app, with your full funding history. Invite the referrers who send you guests, set exactly what each staff member can do, and get a push the moment a new referral comes in.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-09-19

Venue owners and door staff: run the door from the app, on iPhone or iPad. See tonight's parties, accept referrals, check guests in, mark no-shows, pause or resume referrals, and set up your venue. Invited? The link creates your account and the app takes it from there.
