A mixed group forms two separate meshes. Acoustic and QR work between any devices. This is now stated on the Settings and Send screens. ■ Faster, more reliable launch The app no longer waits for audio to initialize while it starts. Audio is prepared when you actually use acoustic send or receive. ■ Fixed saving your PRO purchase state Re-saving your entitlement after a purchase or a restore could silently fail. All rescue signals stay free. ### 1.1 — 2026-08-01 ■ The SOS screen strobe now actually lights up Pick "Screen strobe + vibration" under Preferred SOS mode and the whole display pulses in your rescue color. If the rear flash is unavailable or not permitted, SOS now switches to the screen automatically. The strobe stays on top of whatever screen you are on — tap anywhere to stop it. ■ The screen no longer sleeps while you are signaling The scrolling marquee, QR carousel sending and QR code generation now hold the display awake at full brightness, so it never dims before the other person has finished reading it. ■ Better brightness handling for signal flash patterns Full brightness for on-screen playback; the screen stays dark during rear-flash playback to cut glare and battery drain at night.
