## What is Hotel Please?

There's just something about a good hotel.

The room that got the light right. The bartender who's worked there twenty years and isn't going anywhere. The lobby someone spent years and a fortune on, where you can wander in and order a coffee like you own the place. You check out, and years later you can still walk that hallway in your head.

Hotel Please is for those hotels.

The grande dames that have been quietly perfect since 1897. The ryokan with eleven rooms. The one in Mexico City a designer clearly lost their mind over, in the best way. The riad you'd fly a long way just to sit in the courtyard of.

Every hotel in here got in because someone decided it was worth it. We research each one ourselves, choose the photos, and write it up like it matters, because it does. No hotel pays to be included, and nothing is sponsored.

MEDALS, NOT STARS
Every hotel is rated across eight vibes, from gold down to listed: Design, Luxe, Heritage, Local, Wellness, Social, Resort and Classic. A medal only for what a place is genuinely great at, and gold is rare on purpose. One medal a hotel truly earned tells you more than a 4.6 average ever will.

KEEP THE ONES YOU WANT
Save a hotel the second you hear about it, before you have any excuse to go.

KEEP THE ONES YOU'VE STAYED IN
Stamp a stay and it's yours. The year, the room, what you thought. Stamps fill up slowly and mean something.

SWIPE A CITY
Swipe through a city's hotels one at a time. Keep the ones you'd book, and we'll write you a guide from your picks.

No ads. No deals near you. Just hotels worth knowing about, in your pocket, for the next time someone asks where to stay.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.19.3 — 2026-09-29

Every hotel page is new. It reads like a guidebook now: the hotel in chapters, photographs laid out like prints, and pages drawn for the pool, the spa and hotels that welcome dogs. Rooms, reviews and the details are all on one page. Our eight vibes are drawn in ink too.

### 1.19.2 — 2026-09-27

Swipe a city and it now asks this or that as you go, picking up where your first answers left off. Turn any card over for the details, and undo a swipe you didn't mean. Your guide lights up when it's ready.

### 1.19.1 — 2026-09-25

A new way in. Tell us what you love and we'll find more like it. Swipe through a city one hotel at a time, and get a guide built from your picks. Likes replace wishlists: tap the heart and it's saved.

### 1.19.0 — 2026-09-24
