Please be aware of hotels.com and Marriott’s desert villas the website of hotels froze and made me double book the room when I arrived Marriott only checked me in into one room and the other the front desk said it was not their problem that once hotels.com would call and confirm they will issue a refund here is hotels response avoid this scammers book through another plataform We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Where a lot of hotels are overpriced and others are cheap but nasty. This place was cheap, clean and ample! Best of both worlds.

One gets what one pays for.  Very centrally located, top location, street car stops in front of the hotel. The room is clean , wi fi is poor, but mobile services are great in Bulgaria. Overall it is OK for 2 night. The A/C is good and the small fridge is ok. The bathroom is clean and functional.

Didn’t properly cancel my stay but told me on the phone when I cancelled more than a month before my stay that everything was cancelled and ok and I would no be charged for a third night once I arrived at the property, in Key Largo. 
They did charge me and I was on the phone for over an hour with Hotels.com and they wouldn’t help me solve this with the Pelican staff even though the Hotels.com representative acknowledged it was their mistake. They eventually put me on hold and then hung up without calling me back. I paid for two expensive hotel stays for one night because of Hotels.com staff and Pelican Hotel staff not communicating professionally.

It is convenient being attached to a gas station.  No elevator for someone with mobility not a plus.  TV did not work in our room so moved to another room.  Older but worked for what we needed it for.   Would prefer to stay elsewhere on next visit but if had to would stay here again.

We booked the room last minute before our cruise. The room was huge and very nice. Front desk attendant was very friendly and made us feel welcome. We also left our car in the valet parking for the week while we were on our cruise. The shuttle took us to the port and picked us back up when we came back. The Hampton also had a nice breakfast buffet with a lot of options. Valet attendants were also very nice and gave us suggestions for dinner options and places to find good beignets. We would definitely stay here again.

When I arrived there was no shuttle for over an hour. When I called the hotel to check if it was still running I ended up speaking to AI who had attitude with me when I wanted to talk to customer service. And it provided me with the wrong location for the pick up. When I got to the hotel, the main door was locked and there’s a very small that was crowded with two people. When I finally got into the room, there was no hot water and the air-conditioning unit on the wall made noise all night. Not the normal sound from an air-conditioning unit, but it sounded like somebody was scratching on the door all night long. Good parts of the day was the bed was comfortable. The pillows were comfortable and it was clean. Overall, not a very good experience.
