I go to Hotham every weekend but every time I go check the trails that are open it will only show me the terrain parks and no lifts of anything so I don’t know what is open. When it did work there wasn’t runs like Mary slide or basically any of the extreme zone so please fix that and I will be happy, so overall it was pretty good. ### 3/5 — Feels generic *2026-07-12* Good but could have more specific information, especially regards to weather. Plus is very inconvenient to have to take your phone to chat with mates regarding which trails to take. Well done. ### 4/5 — Feedback *2024-11-24* It’s a great app that I use 90% of the season but could do with some changes and upgrades. The older version in 2022 where we could see all the resorts trails under each lift was super useful but now not every trail is included especially the ones in the extreme zone so it’s hard to tell if they are open and even the ones that you can see often don’t get updated till the next day unlike the lift status which updates every 10 minutes. Another thing that could be good is something like the American epic mix app that lets you see all the resorts in the US on one app. It’d be an alright idea having this for Hotham, falls and Perisher. Kids in ski school can’t even get a lift to ski a run. Good but very limited runs for experienced skiers And even less for moderate skiers ### 3/5 — Good effort, but not quite there yet *2024-07-07* Overall a good app however I regularly find myself looking at the Hotham website page for the following reason. -app is really clunky, it often doesn’t work very early of a morning, just when you want info to decide if it is worth going up the mountain today. -snow report and weather conditions are not dated, so you don’t know if you are looking at todays or yesterday’s report that hasn’t be updated yet!!! -chain status needs more info like the website. Not just if chains are on but the location bay being used for 2wd and 4wd when they differ. -lift status often just says unknown for all lifts Please fix the glitch. Thanks for having a go at an app for Australia’s best mountain, with a bit more work you can make the app the best as well. Update for 2024 The weather conditions are time stamped and then the mountain report is listed below. Trouble is yesterdays report isn’t taken down nor does it have a date so if you are looking at the report at 630/7 and thinking of heading up from the valley there is no way to know if this is todays or yesterdays report. Is it possible it could be dated-simply in the reporters text, like “here is the snow report for Monday 8th July”, or delete it automatically at midnight, or have the app time/date stamp the entry. Option one would need no change in coding. Could a comment be made about terrain park status as well. Many people choose between Hotham and falls depending on the park status, especially when terrain is limited early and late in the season. Otherwise generally works well this year. Thanks heaps! ### 5/5 — Nice Snow Resort *2024-06-30* This is the second time we family of four come to ski. The place is friendly and safe. People are really helpful and lessons are well organized. Most importantly it has various snow conditions such as powder snow. The only thing might need to improve is the grocery shop which is a bit tiny( comparing falls’) while more choices from restaurants. Runs that are open are shown as closed. Runs that have been groomed are showing as ungroomed. Took 3 steps to find it and when found, the app refused to acknowledge a valid login that works on other devices. Nothing is intuitive or obvious and takes lots of trial and error not to achieve the any result - rubbish and a wast of time except for the trail tracking which it cool, but finding accomodation, nope, buying tickets, had to go into the office to solve it. Tracking was once a bit of fun .. but NOW useless!!!!!! ### 1/5 — What happened! *2022-08-15* The 2021 version was great, tried the 2022 version and straight off it’s aesthetically less pleasing with the black black interface coupled with possibly the least intuitive app in which to navigate I’ve ever come across. Joining groups and sending your tracking details last year was easy and worked every day. We’ve been up 11 days this year so far and not once has the app provided location details of anyone except for the odd (43 minutes ago) tag next to their name. The weather and snow report doesn’t update reliably and is incredibly slow in doing so.
