## What is Hotline?

Scroll to Table.

Open Hotline and scroll a feed of real dinners, the way you scroll everything else. The ones you tap go
straight to your table: tailored to how your household eats, shopping list built, cart sent to your store.
No staring into the fridge, no half-bought groceries because you forgot the one thing.

Free to scroll, save, and shop

Save any recipe, import one from a TikTok, Instagram Reel, YouTube Short or blog link, build a cart,
connect your store and check out. You can cook from Hotline without paying a cent.

Search the way you actually think

Look for an ingredient instead of a title, spell it wrong, or describe what you feel like. "Comfort food
for a cold night" finds you dinner, and "chicken cheesw" still finds the chicken.

A feed that knows how you eat

Set your dietary preferences and allergies once. Your feed hides what you cannot have and surfaces more of
  what fits.

What's Cooking, the feed of what your people are actually making

Open What's Cooking and see what the cooks you follow are saving, cooking, rating and sharing this week,
their clips playing as you scroll. Say something back. Comment on a dinner, heart the replies worth
keeping, and pull a friend in with @ and their name. Ratings tell you who rated a dish, not just a number.

Your cookbook is the page behind it: your name, your photo or a short welcome video, and the food you want
people to see. Finish yours and your first month of membership is on us.

You stay in charge. Photos are checked before they reach the feed, anything can be reported or blocked
from the row it sits on, and you can keep your cooking to yourself from Settings.

  Dinner that fits your number

Tell Hotline what you want to spend, for how many dinners and how many people, and it finds meals that hit
it at your store. You see the dinners, the total, and what shopping this way saves you against buying one
recipe at a time. First three runs free, no card needed.

Meet Friday, your AI cooking companion

Friday is the kitchen brain that does the thinking for you. She comes with membership, and she can:

Scan your fridge from a photo and stock your pantry, no typing.
Count the calories and macros on your plate.
Plan your week. Say "five dinners, two of them one-pot" and she drafts a plan you can swap or approve.
Answer mid-recipe. Ask "what is a good sub for fish sauce" while you cook, without losing your place.

  Send it to your cart

Hotline builds your cart at your store (H-E-B and Kroger today, more coming) and hands you to checkout on
their site. You stay in control of payment.

What is free and what is membership

Free: the feed, saving and importing recipes, your cookbook, following, commenting, shopping it yourself,
connecting your store, checking out, and your first three budget runs. Membership unlocks Friday and her
tools: fridge scan, your pantry, the calorie counter, unlimited budget shopping, and the weekly meal
planner. A separate Coach product is available for households working with a registered dietitian or
  trainer.

  Privacy, plainly

Your fridge photos, chat history, pantry and saved recipes belong to you. We do not sell personal data or
share it with advertisers. Retailers see only what they need to build your cart. Full details:
  cookhotline.com/privacy.

  Subscription information

Hotline is free to download and use. Membership is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks
Friday and her tools. New members get a free week. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of
purchase, and both the trial and the subscription renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours
before the current period ends. Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings > your name > Subscriptions, or
from the Profile screen inside the app.

### 5/5 — Best Cooking App Ever!!

*2026-06-04*

I love hotline. It makes cooking super easy and fun. I always know what to make out of the ingredients I actually have in my pantry and I never have to worry about food waste. With tons of creative recipes to try, it takes the guesswork out of what to make for dinner. And the best part is, it loads the ingredients right into my cart and I can get them delivered or pick them up from my favorite grocery store. It’s made me fall in love with home cooking all over again.

### 5/5 — Makes meal planning and grocery shopping so easy!

*2026-06-04*

I've been using Hotline for a few months now. It makes my meal plans, tracks my calories and puts the ingredients I need in my grocery cart. This app is revolutionary for someone like me. It helps me eat healthy and use what I have on hand so I can save money. I've lost weight. My lab work is improving. I'm eating better than ever and I'm eating a fun variety of recipes. I loving having a single app that allows me to plan and track my meals, shop for what I need and get new ideas. Big love for Friday (iykyk) and BIG love for Hotline!

### 5/5 — Revives cooking at home

*2026-06-04*

I live with two other roommates which makes managing food storage and knowing what we all have in the kitchen difficult which deterred us from cooking at home. Using Hotline has completely changed that for us but most specifically the “your pantry” feature. Easily being able to check what’s in our fridge/cupboard from the grocery store and keep track of what we all have has been a game changer. I’ve personally been able to save money by completely cutting out ordering take out and not only embrace cooking at home for myself, but using Hotline to plan dinner parties at home with my roommates and friends.

### 5/5 — Life Made Simple

*2026-06-04*

This app has been a real money saver and helps me stay on track cooking healthy and tasty meals at home. Work has me always on the go and the last thing at the end of the day I want to think about is what’s in my fridge, what to cook for dinner, what I need to use that’s about to expire. Hotline solved all that for me.

Say something back.
Every dinner in What's Cooking now takes comments. Heart the ones you like, pull a friend in with @ and their name, and the cook hears about it. Discover tab, then WHAT'S COOKING.

You will know when someone turns up.
Hearts, comments and mentions now reach you, so a conversation on your recipe does not sit unread for a week.

Your feed, your call.
Report anything from the row it sits on, block anyone you would rather not see, and take a block back any time from Blocked accounts in Settings. A block clears that cook out of your feed and out of your comments.

A cookbook that tells you what it still needs.
Finish the parts that are missing and your page starts pulling its weight.

Plus fixes throughout.

### 1.4 — 2026-08-17

Your cookbook is now a place, not a folder.
Claim a name, add a photo or a short welcome video, write a line about how you cook, and your recipes
become a page other cooks can visit. Finish yours and your first month is on us.

See what everyone else is cooking.
The feed now shows what other cooks are saving, sharing and cooking this week, with their clips playing as
you scroll. Follow the ones you like and their food starts leading your feed.

  Search that understands you.
Search by an ingredient instead of a title, spell it wrong, or just describe what you feel like. "Comfort
food for a cold night" finds you dinner, and "chicken cheesw" still finds the chicken.

Work My Budget, three runs on the house.
Tell us what you want to spend, for how many dinners and how many people, and we find meals that hit your
number at your store. You see the dinners, the total, and what shopping this way saves you against buying a
recipe at a time. No card needed.

  Real food, from real people.
Every recipe photo is checked before it reaches the feed, AI-looking images are held back, and you can flag
  anything that slips through.

Recipes you cook now earn something.
Cook, rate and share, and awards show up on your cookbook. Ratings now show who rated a dish, not just an
  average.

A first run that asks about you before it asks for your email.
How you eat comes first, the account comes last, and you get a look at the food before either.

Plus video on your own recipes, a faster feed, and fixes throughout.

### 1.3.2 — 2026-07-25

Promo codes are here. Got a code from a partner gym or an offer? Enter it at signup, or tap Have a code? on the membership screen, and your free Hotline Pro time switches on instantly.

Meal plans in chat. Tell Friday your calorie goal and how many meals you need. She plans the week, shows you the numbers, and hands you the grocery list. Cart it in one tap.

Log food by saying it. "Log a chicken bowl and a black coffee." Counted, totaled, done. You can set your daily target in chat too.

Shop on a Budget, faster. Your options land about 3x quicker, and the picks you keep save straight to My Recipes.

Plus fixes and polish throughout.

### 1.3.1 — 2026-07-06

Work My Budget got a big upgrade:

While Friday prices your dinners, play a quick food-trivia game and build an all-time score.
Every budget dinner now comes with a mouthwatering description from Friday, so you know exactly what you're about to cook.
Swiping is smoother: browse options with big side arrows, and remove a pick from your list with a single tap.
Budget "Friday Originals" have a bold new look.

Across the app:

Recipes you create with Friday keep her description and get clean generated artwork until you add your own photo.
Ask Friday to log a meal straight to your calorie counter.
Faster budget results, quicker shared-recipe links, and a lot of polish and bug fixes.

### 1.3 — 2026-07-03

Meet Friends of Hotline. Real cooks, chefs, and creators now have their own pages in the app: browse their signature recipes, follow them for updates, watch what they're cooking, and cart any dish in a tap. Find them right in your Discover feed, free for everyone. Want in? There's an open call, apply from the feed.
Shop on a budget also got smarter. Tell Friday your budget and how many dinners you need, swipe through her picks, then tap off what's already in your kitchen before you see a single price, so your total reflects what you actually need to buy. Your shopping list now drops straight into Shop Myself, ready to check off in the aisle. Plus smarter quantities (one value pack of chicken thighs covers several dinners), better progress and navigation throughout, and fixes for interrupted sessions.
