## What is HotSOS Mobile?

HotSOS Mobile extends Amadeus' award winning desktop Hotel Service Optimization System to the field on mobile tablets and smartphones.

HotSOS is the premier application for empowering hotel employees to provide guests the best possible stay from a service and facilities perspective.  Through HotSOS Mobile, employees and managers can access multiple functions catered to their role within the hotel operations.... 

The role based access notifies staff of awaiting service orders and allows them to view detailed information and manage pending work better. HotSOS Mobile also gives the ability to generate service orders and perform guestroom or public space inspections and gives department heads and hotel managers a tool to easily manage operations on the go.

Please make app apple friendly. I doesn’t fit on my iphone screen i cant see or zoom in or out of screen.

Logs me out EVERY 18 minutes even if I open the app to keep my session active. Also has a more convoluted login process than ever. No biometric option, so every time you input pin, then select field to bring up password manager, it offers Authenticator as an option but if you click that it says it’s no longer supported, use iOS password manager, type “ho” to select, then it offers email or sms 2fa, select text but then quickly tap some part of the screen outside of the field for inputting 2fa code or it won’t show in the “select from messages” auto feature, and then still have to resend code 20% of the time. Can’t even copy and paste the code from messages if it doesn’t properly show because they include a long disclaimer before the code and iOS doesn’t allow selecting part of a text message only the whole thing. The whole process takes 30-45 seconds. Add that up over a day, week, year and you have a ton of lost productivity taken up by an inexcusably clumsy interface.

A PIN, password that has to be 16 characters long, and now 2FA??? And getting kicked out every 30 mins of non use! Overkill and extremely annoying to use
UPDATE: good news, I found a way to turn off 2FA…bad news is that it doesn’t shut it off.

I’m using the app on my personal device, but I find it incredibly frustrating that I have to log in with my username and password every few minutes. There’s no option to enable biometrics (such as fingerprint or facial recognition), which would make the process much more seamless. Constantly re-entering credentials every couple of minutes is both inconvenient and time-consuming, especially for frequent users. I strongly suggest adding biometric login options and improving session persistence to enhance the overall user experience.”

Biggest gripe is how it automatically logs me out every hour unless I make sure to open the app periodically. Then logging in I put pin, then I have to select the password box, select password manager at bottom of screen, select password from ios native password manager. The option for pin+face id would make it so much smoother. I spend 20 seconds logging in just to view a work order. For some reason the app also gives a duplicate work order for each one that's created. I do like that it notifies quickly and with a loud, distinctive alert tone. I work 3 properties and we use Quore as well, it's not any better. Definitely room for a startup to swoop in and do an app like this right.

It requires you to have all permissions allowed to use this app. And timeout session is too short. It’s so annoying that I have to log back in everytime I finish a room.
