### 1/5 — Don't believe the rating on previous page

*2011-09-05, version 1.3.0*

This app is a waste of my money $1.99. I had to give this app one star to allow it to be input. Does not deserve even one star.

Does not save volumes, pool type and is missing buttons the app tells you to press. No updates since April 2011. Nothing actually saves. This is a complete watse of money. The idea is fantastic bit if the company is not going to correct the bugs or update the app at all it is a definate waste of money and a cash cow for the developer. I personally want my $1.99 refunded as this app is useless at this point in time.

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2011-06-01, version 1.3.0*

Does nothing waste of money

### 1/5 — Calculations VERY wrong

*2010-07-10, version 0*

I wish I would had seen the review before I purchased. I have a 400 gal hottub and this program says that I need 1.48 pounds of ph down to lower my ph a few points.(ex 7.6 to 7.2) Normally a tablespoon or two is used. A whole container of ph down is only 1.5 pounds for my hottub. This review is for ver 1.0.1 I hope they fix things in next version.

### 1/5 — Not good

*2010-04-25, version 0*

I am in the uk and this does not offer enough product selection choices to enable you to make a correct assesment of how much product to add to the water to balance the water. F- could do much much better.

### 1/5 — Call your local pool dealer - maybe HE can count...

*2010-03-11, version 0*

Look and usability is good, but the math is horrible. I've worked in a pool store for 15 years and can tell you 1lb. of 99% DiChlor shock is needed for 10,000 gallons. This app tells me to add 0.45lbs! Good luck keeping your pool clear with these calculations. Don't waste your $3.00 (!) on this mess!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Temperature

*2021-05-21, version 2.0.0*

Only shows Celsius

### 1/5 — No longer works

*2020-08-07, version 2.0.0*

This was an excellent app. Got a new iphone 11 and there is apparently a compatibility issue. App now displays just a blank aqua screen where the calculators used to be. Still works with an older iphone running the same number ios. No way to contact developer for help. Disappointing.

### 1/5 — Not adequate for hot tubs

*2019-03-30, version 2.0.0*

Claims to be for hot tubs, but you can only set the balance calculator up to 36 degrees centigrade which is only 96.8 Fahrenheit - most hot tubs are kept 100-104 degrees Fahrenheit. Oh, and you can’t change it from centigrade to Fahrenheit.

### 1/5 — Crashed

*2015-05-13, version 1.7.0*

I was plugging in recent data to see if this calculator works. All was great for about 10 minutes. Now it crashes every time I try to go into the dosing screens. I think it would be decent if it didn't crash. One issue - sodium hypochlorite (bleach) comes standard at 8.25%, but this app only has options for 6% or 10%, 12.5%, and higher.

### 1/5 — Celsius only???

*2014-08-19, version 1.7.0*

Seems like a good app, except when it comes to the temperature setting. Why can't you change between Fahrenheit and Celsius? It only allows Celsius, which means that I have to do the conversion separately to figure out what the Fahrenheit temperature is. When this gets fixed, I'll give it 5 stars!!!

### 1/5 — Useless!!

*2013-04-03, version 1.5.0*

It has "HotTub" in the name but you can't raise the temp slider to a hot enough temperature! AND it only has celsius.

### 1/5 — Waste of $

*2011-11-13, version 1.3.0*

This app does not work for a hot tub. Everything is off. Read the other reviews and you will see it is a scam.

### 1/5 — Bad App

*2011-11-09, version 1.3.0*

Scam

### 1/5 — Saves my gallons, but doesn't work

*2011-11-08, version 1.3.0*

This app will save the gallons of my hot tub, but when I try to get how much chemical to put in it says the gallons are null and doesn't tell me how much to use. Basically it was a $1.99 scam to get my money. Don't waste your time or money on this one as it's totally non functional.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2011-09-20, version 1.3.0*

Very poor app. As stated by a previous reviewer it is of little use to UK users. It is also quite unstable and prone to freezing or not starting at all. A waste of money.

## Most praised reviews (6 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great app

*2021-06-07, version 2.0.0*

If you have a basic understanding of pool chemistry this App is spot on. Outstanding d quick reference for Dosimetry g.

### 5/5 — Simple to use and awesome for the homeowner!

*2018-05-26, version 2.0.0*

Great app. My only complaint is compatibility with iOS 11.

### 5/5 — Number 1 pool app

*2017-01-08*

If you have a pool you need this app makes dosing your pool easy just test your pool punch the numbers in the app and it tells you the correct amount of chemicals to add too easy

### 5/5 — Seems to work fine.

*2012-02-10, version 1.4.0*

New version is fantastic!! Saves data for 3 pools.

### 4/5 — More features wanted

*2012-02-11, version 1.4.0*

Keeping the comments positive, I would like to ask that the authors incorporate the charts and addition items for Bromine hot tubs. This was the first app I bought, and was disappointed that it didn't have the features for Bromine use. A handy converter for alternate chemical use would be great ie: for raising up the PH, use Sodium carbonate or BiCarbonate and how much? Different manufactures use different systems. The new version looks very nice! I look forward to continued support and features.

### 2/5 — Poor user interface, tough to use

*2016-04-28, version 1.7.0*

You're better off paying for a better designed app you don't have to manually configure as much. This looks and functions like something from 10 years ago. Chemicals and measures seems a bit off.
