## What is HOTWORX?

The HOTWORX application is indented for members of our HOTWORX Studio facilities.  The purpose of this application is to encourage users to track their total amount of calories burned during a HOTWORX workout session, and to track their "1-hour after-burn."  A HOTWORX workout is 40 minutes, and the after-burn is 1 hour. The total session time will capture the calories burned for a total of 100 minutes.

This app integrates with the Health app.

### 1/5 — Great Gym. Trash App.

I could go into detail about the many many things wrong with this app, but I will focus on the lack of a physical fob to get into the gym. I can’t tell you how many times I have been late getting into my class because I’ve had to re-download the app and sometimes my phone even dies because I get to the gym at 2%. Is that my fault?  Yes. Should you have to have a phone to get into a gym? No

The app/company says that the more your burn,’the more you earn… however when the app doesn’t work (which is much of the time) you will not earn. While it’s not the purpose; it is the focus and push of the business. So it’s obnoxious when it doesn’t work 2 out of 4 times… which makes me not recommend the company

Think the scheduling aspect of the app works phenomenally. However, when it comes to recording the workout it gets confusing. I believe that there should be an option to end workout early for those who start class late or started the workout later. Instead of canceling and it not counting at all. You may say why don’t you let it play out… that’s because I did a back to back class and wanted to start my new workout. That being said I like the app and would like to see another option for finishing the class.

This is one of my least favorite apps but o have to use it for the workouts. It doesn’t work more than it does. Randomly logs out for no reason which erases an ongoing workout. Doesn’t record the same calories showing on my watch. All around a frustrating app and even with the multiple bug “fixes” something is always messing up. PLEASE FIX THE ONGOING GLITCHES.

The app does not sync well with the Apple Watch. Many of my workouts have not counted for the challenges because it will record on the watch and not on the app. It’s super glitchy. I hate that I cannot just use the Apple Watch to track my workout under its appropriate workout type and then transfer to the Hotworx app. Part of the appeal of Hotworx is the calorie counting and challenges.

The app does not accept my picture no matter how many times I’ve tried. I adjusted the lighting. The picture is clear not blurry yet it says it’s blurry.

This app is horrible. It can never connect to my Apple Watch Hotworx app. Get there 20 minutes early so you can fight with this app to record your workout and then inevitably give up so you can actually get a workout.
