## What is Hours Away?

Hours Away answers one question: can I reach them now, and if not, when?

No subscription. No ads. No account.

Add the places where your colleagues, clients or family are. Each place has its working hours. The app shows them in your own time, on one line, and marks the hours you share.

ONE SENTENCE
The start screen says it in words: "Quito is reachable from 4:00 PM."

ONE TIMELINE
Every place is a lane on the same timeline. Their hours are an outline. The hours you share are filled. Pull sideways to look ahead.

OR A DIAL
The same day as rings on a clock face. Choose it in Settings.

THE GLOBE
Day and night as they are now, sunrise and sunset in each city, the shortest way between you. Turn the phone on its side and the world turns with the stars behind it.

MADE FOR IPHONE DUO
Open it and the upper half is the globe, turning as you pull the timeline. The lower half is your day. Closed, it works on the outer display.

INTO THE CALENDAR
One tap puts the next hour you share into your calendar.

WHEN YOU TRAVEL
Follow your location, or plan a trip and see every place as if you had already landed.

A NOTICE WHEN THEY ARE IN
One switch per place. You hear when someone becomes reachable, only inside your own hours if you want.

WIDGETS AND APPLE WATCH
The answer on your Home Screen, your Lock Screen and your wrist.

YOUR LOOK
Day, Night, Sea, Lilac. 15 languages. 577 cities, every time zone.

PRIVATE
No account. Your places stay on your devices and in your own iCloud. If you switch on "Follow my location", your rough position goes to Apple to be named as a city. The app keeps the city, not the position.

One place is free. One purchase, once, opens every place on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, and Family Sharing gives it to your family too.

## Pricing and in-app purchases

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2 — 2026-10-25

Made for iPhone Duo. Open it and the upper half is the world, turning as you pull the tape; the lower half is your day. Closed, it fills the outer display. Fewer words on the start screen, each fact said once.

### 1.1 — 2026-10-21

The tape keeps clear of the bottom edge, even with four or five places. "Back to now" is a button now. During setup you choose your start screen: tape or dial. Small fixes to labels.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-10-17

The sentence at the top now has a fixed place: the tape no longer jumps when the sentence changes. The hour marks on the tape stay clear of the lane name.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-10-16

Lanes share the screen as places are added. Words never cross a block. Each place in its own shade. A small glide when you let go of the tape.

### 1.0 — 2026-10-14

No release notes.
