Its so small you can't even read it even though it is only a preview. Yippee, now I can get copies unbent by the mail, and unthumbed by the unwashed coffee drinking masses. Both came up so tiny I couldn't even see them- iPhone sized on my ipad, and with no option to increase size. Repeated attempts to figure out how to view them in greatere-than-Barbie size elicited only attempts to get me to subscribe, yes/no. Two favorite magazines have left me with a sour taste in my mouth. Very upset. ### 1/5 — Magazines deleted *2014-05-31, version 4.0.8* With the new update, House Beautiful have seen fit to delete from my device all of the magazines that I have purchased from them. Which wouldn't be so bad, except that magazines older than 12 months are no longer available for download. Are they also going to pop round my house and remove any physical copies that are older than 12 months, or have they just stolen my digital copies? ### 1/5 — Rubbish - why no digital access for print subscribers? *2013-08-11, version 2.5.8* Useless to me as a print subscriber - clearly this is an afterthought and not part of an integrated market offering to their HB subscribers. ### 1/5 — Where's the free access for print subscribers? *2013-01-01, version 2.5.8* About time there was an app, but am disappointed as there doesn't seem to be free access to the iPad edition for existing print subscribers, unlike other rival magazines like Ideal Home, hence my low rating. Unless I'm missing something...? I'm confused by the subscription pricing though; at the time of writing is I can subscribe to 12 digital editions for £32 but 12 regular copies of the magazine by subscription will cost £21, 24 is £40 and 36 is £52. I'm a freak for using my iPad for everything but I won't pay this price for a digital version when the regular is way cheaper. PLUS there are other magazines that include digital downloads free for regular subscribers. As fabulous as this magazine is it just feels as though I'm being ripped off for being a UK resident. ### 3/5 — Frustrated by updates *2016-11-11, version 6.0* I enjoy reading my House Beautiful very much ... When I can access it. I have it on auto renew subscription but it never works. I am currently locked out of my account.
