## What is House to House Records?

Record not-at-home's in field service with one hand!

House to House is designed to make recording not-at-home's and future return visits from your field ministry fast and easy.

How to use House to House:

1. Create a new record when you begin field service on a new street, adding the street name and the range of numbers to use.

2. House to House creates a grid of numbers, representing possible address numbers.

3. Time to record an address that was a not-at-home or that will be a return visit? Find the number in the grid. Tap once if it is a not-at-home. (The rectangle will become orange.) Tap twice if it will be a return visit. (The rectangle will be dark blue.) The third tap on a rectangle will clear this information. (The rectangle will become light blue again.)

Features:
- Mark not-at-home's, returns, and do-not-return's on a street by tapping a color-coded grid of address numbers.
- Add quick notes for return visits; the date is appended to the end when it's added while you're using a grid mode.
- View all numbers, or view only even numbers and odd numbers, for visiting one side of the street.
- Adjust the range of address numbers when you need to.
- View your list of not-at-home's or return visits, export your record as a PDF, or email it as text.

## Key features

- Color-coded grid for marking visits
- Add quick notes for return visits
- View even/odd numbers separately

### 3/5 — Not for publishers

*2023-10-28*

Thanks for your efforts to take the difficulty out of tracking not-at-homes. However, the typical publisher has no way of knowing the addresses of a street they were just assigned to work. Therefore entering the number of houses nor their starting number. Perhaps using gps house locator as some other apps (MyTime, etc) would help. Thanks for your efforts.

### 3/5 — Nice, but not for me

*2019-11-05*

I like simplicity. But it proved to be a tad fiddly when I tried to add only 4 houses on a small street with a number range difference of 123. I had to delete.

### 4/5 — Great App

*2019-06-06, version 1.1.2*

Easy to set up and use. However the numbers on the grid are a bit small and the colours make it even harder in daylight. Any chance of changing this?

### 3/5 — Adding an apartment complex

*2019-05-08*

Hi, I start using this app and one thing that I noticed is that have numbers for the homes but doesn’t have anything to put an apartment number, like for example: 12345 Lagos St. Apt 1
So it will be nice if you can add that future.
Thanks.

### 4/5 — Nice App!

*2019-01-15*

I just happened to stumble on this app. I’ve been using another Not at Home app which is nice, but not as easy to use. I gave this 4 stars only because another person with this same app can not open the not at homes you send them from their app. This makes it inconvenient for a couple working the same territory at different times. Otherwise I think it’s great. Thank you so much for the time and effort you put in this. If you could fix that one thing it would be perfect and I don’t see any reason why you shouldn’t charge a little to help offset your cost in developing this app. I also noticed that whatever I type in the Territory Field will not save and if I change something in Publisher Field on the Not At Home slip it changes on all the records I created.

### 5/5 — Try it

*2018-11-03, version 1.1.2*

At first look, the grid of numbers looks so different from a the House to House record we are used to, but it really is quite brilliant. It looks goofy having more house address numbers than are on the street, but it doesn’t matter. All the numbers are there, and tapping on the corresponding number simply changes the color to indicate NH #1, NH#2 etc. A long press lets you add a note or flag as DNC. The slider is a fast way to set up a range of house numbers, but I find it just as easy to manually type in starting and ending range. A generous gift to us. I am grateful.

**Developer response:** Thank you!

### 3/5 — Does not save map number

*2018-09-23, version 1.1.1*

Nice and simple to use...however when editing it does not save the map number or publisher name. Please fix. TG

### 5/5 — House to house records

*2018-09-14*

Thanks so much for the work that when into making this app. available. It’s perfect once you learn how simple it is to use.
There is one small problem the territory number won’t save once entered in its space. Again thanks for making it easy to keep the house to house records. 😀

### 5/5 — Pioneer

*2018-09-05*

### 4/5 — Nice app but can’t add flat Numbers

*2018-04-22, version 1.0.8*

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.0.7 — 2026-02-03

Fixed a bug that caused the screen displaying the slip to close after editing a note.

### 2.0.6 — 2026-01-21

Bug fixes.

### 2.0.5 — 2025-10-15

A compatibility update for iOS 26. Also, the design is updated for Liquid Glass.

Please note that in iOS 26, toolbar items on the bottom bar of the “Return Visits” screen (the "Sort" button) and the “My Records” screen (the “Sort” and “Select” buttons) will move to the More Info menu (•••) in the upper-right corner. Otherwise, the Liquid Glass tab bar would have covered the buttons.

Also, there is a known issue with the bottom-left button in the grid view, the even-odd-number switcher. Although the button still functions as a menu when long-pressed, as of iOS 26, it sometimes doesn't respond to a tap. Right now, when the grid view is presented after the new record screen, we may not be able to toggle through showing all numbers, showing even numbers, and showing odd numbers just by tapping the button, but those options are still available in the button's menu if you tap and hold.

### 2.0.4 — 2025-04-16

Fixed a bug that occasionally prevented a newly created record from presenting on devices running iOS 16.

### 2.0.3 — 2025-02-03

Bug fixes.
