## What is Housetune?

Never miss the maintenance that keeps small problems from becoming expensive repairs.

Tell Housetune a little about your home and it builds a maintenance plan for your climate: HVAC filters, smoke alarms, water heater flushes, gutters, winterizing and 60+ more chores, each on the right schedule. Reminders arrive at 9 am on the day something is due.

SCAN YOUR APPLIANCES (Pro)
Point your camera at the rating label on your water heater, furnace or fridge. Housetune reads the brand, model, serial number and age on your iPhone and adds the right maintenance.

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDES (Pro)
Not sure how to flush a water heater? Get clear steps, tools and safety tips for each chore, tailored to your appliance and written on your iPhone by Apple Intelligence. Video walkthroughs are one tap away for everyone.

Just describe a chore ("clean the pool every 2 weeks") and Housetune sets it up.

WARRANTIES
Add a warranty end date and Housetune reminds you before it runs out.

A RECORD THAT ADDS VALUE (Pro)
Every completed task is logged automatically. Add repairs and costs, then export a Home History Report PDF to share with buyers, inspectors or your insurer.

MORE THAN ONE HOME (Pro)
Keep a separate plan for a rental, a cabin or your parents' house and switch in one tap.

ALWAYS AT A GLANCE
Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, Siri ("What's due in Housetune?") and an Apple Watch app to check off chores from your wrist.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your home's data stays on your devices. No account, no ads, no tracking. Text recognition and AI run on-device.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.2.2 — 2026-10-10

HomeKeep is now Housetune. Nothing else changes: your homes, history, reminders and Pro stay as they are.

### 1.2.1 — 2026-10-07

• A cleaner, easier-to-read look: titles and numbers now use a rounded typeface, and everyday text a crisp one, across the app, widgets and the Apple Watch app.
• Made for smaller iPhones: on smaller screens, setup, Home, chore and appliance details and the Pro screen have their own layout, so text keeps its full size instead of being squeezed.
• Simpler plan names on the Pro screen: Yearly, Monthly and Lifetime.
• VoiceOver reads the free-trial label once, clearly.
• Improvements and fixes.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-10-05

• Appliance chores in one place: the Home tab now starts with an Appliances group, and each chore there shows the name of the appliance it belongs to. Your other chores follow under Home.
• Right after you add an appliance, you see its maintenance chores and when they are due. They are also listed under Maintenance on the appliance's page.
• Warranty reminders on Home: when an appliance's warranty ends within 30 days, a card shows at the top of Appliances. Tap it to open the appliance.
• New plans start with the chores for the features you picked.
• Vietnam & Southeast Asia: new plans no longer include "Test exterior lights".
• Better layout on smaller iPhones and with larger text: text wraps instead of being cut off, and the main buttons stay within reach.
• Improvements and fixes.
