So simple and nice. And my friends are on it and it’s just so low stakes and chill. I don’t super use the ai but I also don’t mind it either. Just feel like this app gets the job done.. And excited to see how they innovate further!! The types of people flocking to an app like this, myself included, likely will not be the types of people okay with the presence of an AI seemingly trying to read and engage with what explicitly is marketed as being a private, close friends social app. If I could turn off the AI it’d be 5 stars. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Just started getting used to it. *2026-07-13* My friends and I all decided to download this app, and at first we thought it was really fun. However, we quickly became uncomfortable with some of its features. I didn’t like that it seemed to track our phones, and I don’t understand why users have to provide both their first and last name. I’m also confused about the purpose of the AI chatbot, especially if it has access to photos that we choose to upload. That raised privacy concerns for me. Overall, because of these concerns, I decided to give the app 1 star and would not recommend, please try a different app. ### 1/5 — Boring, and Ai *2026-06-21* cute app, gets old, also why is there AI, who needs that? ### 1/5 — Can’t even sign up. *2026-06-17* The service the developer uses to remove profile picture backgrounds has run out of its usage limits for their plan which makes it impossible to create an account because it is required to have a profile picture to make one. ### 1/5 — Hate the ai chat box *2026-05-13* I would love this app if there were no ai chat box. I was gonna have my whole friend group download this app but after seeing the ai I’m not. It’s a great concept and I love how you decorate your profile and add songs, that’s so unique and nothing you see out there now. However, I see a lot of people deleting it because of the AI chat that is unnecessary. It analyzes your friends and what’s going on in their day. It takes the close, homey feel away from the app and instead bring one of the least favorite features of big social media platforms to this space. If they don’t take it away completely, they should at least give the option to turn it off. ### 2/5 — Ok why... *2025-12-01* Do I really need to add three contacts like It wasn't like this before? I feel a social media platform would be more social not just set to just 3 people or less like I'm here to make and find friends. I can literally ask it for gift ideas for my friends and it actually tailors the gifts to my friends’ personal profiles on the app. I am obsessed w designing my profile. The customization is eeeverrrything, from the wallpaper to the icons you can paste onto it.
