The iPad is not the latest but is about 5 years old. The version history only says “performance and bug fixes” in the history so that’s useless. There’s plenty of different reasons to have two separate codes for access to your phone and then access to your BANK ACCOUNT… and now I can’t even just easily log out and in without it giving me a huge hassle of two factor options that still don’t make sense since if I used any of those choices they would already have access to my phone or even the Authenticator apps if I don’t have two phones which almost no one does! I used to love this app, but now I don’t feel like it’s as safe and convenient with just because of a simple pin, now I have to sacrifice safety for convenience. I’d happily change it to 5 star if we got the option back. ### 1/5 — Not functional *2025-11-20, version 3.29.0* After recent update the app is no longer functional on latest iPhone update ### 1/5 — Over verification and Delay!!! *2024-05-30, version 3.12.0* Has fraud gotten so bad that I have to give 7 pieces of info when asked to call in? Geez… took 5 mins just to get to a point t where she sent me a code to give her just to tell me when they needed me to call. Also, HFCU requires me to write “electronic deposit only” on a check to deposit it? What if it doesn’t go through and I have to walk it in or take it to another bank? Regardless, just causing delays. I am doing it now. She said it will be on hold for days before I guess it can be applied to escrow. Deposited this check initially yesterday. Received a text for me to call you regarding a matter. Waited on hold, then had to provide identification and then a code via text just to find out why you called. Only to determine that it was because 3 words weren’t written the back under my signature. All said and done, still have a hold placed on the check to verify its authenticity and that funds are available. It’s a corporate check from your competitor. THIS IS TOO MUCH. ### 1/5 — Unusable *2024-05-07, version 3.11.4* I don't know what these devs are doing but they keep breaking the app entirely. Long delays when trying to log in, unable to refresh, unable to log in after app updates...frankly it's embarrassing, but worse what if I needed access to it to verify something or shut down my card? The inability to even log in and display any up to date information will drive people away. ### 1/5 — App stopped working with iOS 15 *2024-04-09, version 3.4.0* App now suddenly requires iOS 16 which cannot install on my device. There was no warning nor explanation that this would happen. Always a great experience when you receive a strange charge alert but find you cannot check up on it. Otherwise, this app deserves ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ### 1/5 — Latest ver won’t run on older iPhone *2024-03-20, version 3.5.0* The old app tells you to upgrade to the latest HFCU app but the latest version requires IOS 13 and won’t run on my older iPhone. I am locked out of my account because some developer thinks that everybody is using the latest iPhone. ### 1/5 — Good for quickly checking balances *2022-12-08, version 2.47.1* It is not the best app ever but it does what I need. Also good for quick transfers. ### 1/5 — No check images, touch ID issues *2021-04-22, version 2.29.0* Constantly having to enter password since app forgets my TouchID. Why no images of cashed checks that I wrote? When one of the paper checks I've written has cleared, the app allows me to attach my own photo that I suppose I could have taken of the check myself when I wrote it, but this doesn't exactly prove that the check was endorsed by the intended recipient. ### 1/5 — Get with the times! *2019-05-26, version 2.5.0* The app does not show pending transactions, the balance just changes. Transactions do not appear until they clear, which can sometimes be 3 days. ### 1/5 — Deposits *2018-05-08, version 2.3.16* I liked it before this update. Every time I attempt to deposit a check via the app it keeps crashing. This is really irritating! I’m going to delete it and reinstall.
