We heard this from many customers and lowered prices in July - Hourly Help is now a flat Rs 199/hr - and the travel fee is now waived entirely on bills above Rs 999. They have been rescheduling it multiple times without my consent. Tried reaching out to them multiple times. The service I booked was not served and my refund never came back. They take booking for a particular time and then tell you the partner is not available to serve fraud app. ### 1/5 — Fraud service *2026-08-17* They assign random helpers who are either on leave or not available to work on the assigned time. They don’t let you cancel the booking even if there’s no one coming to work. Refund is also a problem with this app. ### 1/5 — Worts App *2026-08-08* Don’t use this app for any type of booking I booked a instant hourly help and the app automatically changed it for the next day I tried to cancel the booking from app and it failed again and again. On failure screen it shows a number to contact but that number is not in service. I tired reaching support using whatsapp chat and there also not got any resolution. My money got wasted as I already paid for the service. ### 1/5 — Unprofessional behaviour, not refunding money after cancellation from their end *2026-08-02* Housy cancelled my request and marked request as completed in app. I have been following up multiple times since 2 weeks but they are not refunding the money. ### 1/5 — Worst application *2026-07-28* The irony is actually hilarious. You keep sending me discount coupons for a service I still can’t use because you haven’t even bothered to expand to my area after more than six months. Who exactly are these coupons for? Either your marketing team has no idea where your service is available, or your expansion team and marketing team aren’t talking to each other. Both are equally bad. Sending discounts to users you’ve made no effort to serve isn’t customer acquisition. It’s just a reminder that you’ve ignored an entire market. A “Coming Soon” banner for over six months isn’t exciting anymore. Book 1 day before and on the time of service got delayed for 3 hours and then they cancelled it saying the service is not provided in your area because of the distance. If it is not provided in the area why would they confirm at the very first while booking? Don’t they verify address? Address verification now happens at booking time so this can't repeat. The entire point of booking a service through an app is reliability and convenience, but Housy delivers neither. On multiple occasions, professionals simply did not show up at the scheduled time. Instead of respecting the booking slot, the company calls after the appointment time has already passed and asks if they can send someone later. By then, I've already planned my day around the booking. What makes this even more frustrating is that customers are expected to accommodate the provider's delays rather than the other way around. If I have to keep rearranging my schedule because the service provider can't honour a confirmed appointment, then what exactly is the benefit of using the app? To make matters worse, there seems to be no proper mechanism for ending a job. Sometimes the booking continues running because the professional doesn't end it, leaving customers with unnecessary confusion and hassle. Honestly, this feels no different from having an unreliable regular maid who calls at the last minute—or doesn't show up at all. The lack of punctuality, accountability, and basic customer respect makes the whole experience stressful and inconvenient.
