### 4/5 — Great app, better before update

*2026-08-21, version 1.17.8*

This app does what it does really well, and, before the update, is incredibly easy to navigate.

### 4/5 — First ever review

*2026-08-18, version 1.17.8*

I never write reviews. Ever. For anything. This is my first and probably one of the only ones I ever do write. This app is really nice. It’s good for journaling, for exploring emotions, for building your mental health, for sleep, literally for everything that’s related to mental fitness. And somehow, they did this with no ads and no in app subscriptions. I really appreciate the team behind this app and I heavily recommend it to everyone.
It’s not a replacement for a psychiatrist but it is definitely a good addition!

### 5/5 — Powerful tool

*2026-08-15, version 1.17.8*

My therapist told me about this app when I was working on DBT skills. As someone who doesn’t journal or take notes this app has made it a lot easier to check in and track my emotions and thoughts. This app is amazing and has helped me so much. It’s really easy to use and I love that there are no ads.

### 5/5 — I like it :)

*2026-08-13, version 1.17.8*

This is honestly one of the best emotional tracking apps I’ve ever used and I’ve tried a lot of them. It’s simple and easy to use while also providing you enough emotions to actually put down what you’re feeling.

For someone like me that’s huge cause I have a hard time finding the words to express my feelings.

It’s also great that you can share with a friend because I’m sure a partner or someone close would want to know how you’re feeling when you can’t express it.

### 5/5 — Thank you!

*2026-08-12, version 1.17.8*

Thank you for sharing this app with the world! I am so grateful for it, and what I am learning about myself. It is a wonderful app.

I can express my feelings more

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2026-08-07, version 1.17.6*

I love this app. Simple to use when you feel good and doesn’t overload you with options when you don’t. You select how you feel and any additional information is up to you. They don’t use your data for studies unless you sign up. Best random app addition I’ve ever made.

### 3/5 — Needs Improvement

*2026-08-06, version 1.17.6*

It’s a great concept, but I wish you could retroactively submit emotions for missed check-ins. I don’t always have my phone on me, but I’d still like to journal how I felt earlier in the day. Disappointed.

### 5/5 — Comforting

*2026-07-26, version 1.17.6*

I like that this feels like a low pressure emotions app. I’m able to express my feelings, journal them and log my migraines. Since starting new meds and staying consistent with a therapist this helps with my check ins. I’ve been using the app for a week and I love it so much. Also love that it’s free and no hidden subscriptions fees

### 5/5 — It’s free, just get it

*2026-07-26, version 1.17.6*

I don’t think I’ve ever written a review for an app before, but this one I just really love. I will something’s just scroll through the feelings grid to learn new words… it almost turns wellness check-ins into a game!

### 5/5 — Beyond words 10/10

*2026-07-26, version 1.17.6*

This app helps me regulate me emotions and helps me understand myself.

I got this app on a whim, seeing it in a comment section of an amazing app that’s free and helps people out tremendously.

Was I a little skeptical? Yeah. But when I say that this app exceeds my expectations so well 😮‍💨.

I use it everyday, I log in how I feel, and I get to see my emotions laid out infront of me in a monthly in-app calendar.

This has helped me in ways I’ve never had outside of therapy. Love it!!!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Email Support

*2026-07-23, version 1.17.6*

I emailed the support team several days ago , no response. My logic is if they won’t even respond to a simple email , I have to wonder how serious they take their security protocols, our private information, just to name a few . I’ll be deleting and removing my account .

### 1/5 — Sensational

*2026-06-13, version 1.17.6*

Ever since I started this app, it was a bit of adjustment but quickly elaborated to select what emotion I feel most timely. Thank you.

### 1/5 — Forces options

*2026-05-03, version 1.17.3*

I do not want to see tools and reflect on entries. Period. Until that's optional it's no more than a one star app. Stop forcing things on people. And stop with the donate button every 5 seconds. If I wanted to donate, I would've done it already.

### 1/5 — The AI Go Deeper feature is very discriminatory towards me in entries about LGBTQ issues

*2026-04-29, version 1.17.3*

The AI features seem to be fairly biased and discriminatory towards LGBTQ users, which is the opposite of how a journal should be. LGBTQ users need private, unbiased, and non-discriminatory journals a lot more than their peers. Journals should not be worse for LGBTQ users like that.

Even with AI disabled, it prompt me to enable it with a big white button every time I write a journal entry.

### 1/5 — Great app BUT…

*2026-04-19, version 1.17.3*

Current bug that's been there for the last few months is that it's impossible to change your profile picture. The picture set for yourself and for friends are different, and if you have your journal linked in multiple devices, good luck trying to change it on both.

But anyways, it’s wild there’s still no iPad app. I do most of my journaling on iPad. At the very least, give us a Safari-friendly UI we can save as a web app on the home screen. Please don't be like Instagram who took over a decade for this.

I’d love the option to upload more media say 5–10 photos and up to a minute of video per entry. Integration with Apple Music and Spotify would also be huge, letting us tag what we’re listening to (songs, genres, or podcasts).

Visually, the black background feels heavy. It’d be great to swap it for a blurred color, a gradient, or even the entry’s photo. Random writing prompts would also help spark ideas on days when it’s hard to start.

Finally, an emotion check-in slider would be amazing customizable with 3–5 choices, colors, and emojis. It’s way easier to capture how I feel with a slider than by selecting preset words. Would be specially most fun and useful to use this for checking on from my watch or phone/iPad widget, specially if I don't have time or the energy to journal.

### 1/5 — It deleted all my data….

*2026-01-27, version 1.15.7*

I was loving the app and tracking my emotions but randomly it decided to delete EVERYTHING 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄. Like what? No warming, no update, no account info changed. Gone . Be so fr

### 1/5 — Not for iPad!

*2026-01-25, version 1.15.7*

For iPhone ONLY. This should not be in my app store. I don’t like the app at all. The design is terrible, but the worst part is that it is made for iOS, not for iPadOS.

### 1/5 — Creepy Left Swipe Screen Shots

*2026-01-19, version 1.15.7*

Noticed that my iPhone began taking random left swipe screen shots of things not related to the app days after I started using it. Deleted it immediately.

### 1/5 — Good but weirdly sexist?

*2025-12-05, version 1.15.5*

Overall I really want this to be my favourite mood tracker. I like how it’s organized and it feels full of integrity until I get to the analyze feature. I wish I could adjust how they divide categories of data. Like sleep- 7-9 hours is grouped together but I personally feel a difference between 7-9 hours and I wish I could make it more granular. The strangest choice to me is how they choose to include menstrual cycle as a data point. It’s broken down into “no flow, light flow, medium flow etc.” which could not be less helpful to me. It’s so unhelpful I wish it wasn’t there. It feels more insulting that the option could have been there but they decide to divide up the menstrual cycle into useless data points. Having it divided between follicular, ovulation, luteal etc. or even # of days since menstruation started would have been better and actually represent what it feels like to live with a menstrual cycle. I tried emailing them this feedback and got no response so maybe they’ll be more willing to listen in a public forum. I can only hope. How I feel? High energy unpleasant, indignant.

### 1/5 — Disappointed with added AI

*2025-12-03, version 1.15.5*

I have used this app for years and absolutely loved it. Things have been hectic and I haven’t been keeping up with it but was very eager to use it again as it always helped me greatly. Then I see that there is AI. I do not want my data being fed to AI. It’s sad I’ll have to let go of yet another thing.

### 5/5 — Amazing, life changing app

*2026-08-22, version 1.17.8*

I have never written a review for an app, but this one truly deserves it. I wasn’t expecting much after it was recommended by my therapist. I’ve used apps that are supposedly designed to help you understand your emotions, and they all seem like money grabs that give you baseline or surface level insight. however, this app is truly a gem. there seems to be a genuine interest from the creators to want to help people overcome their feelings and sentiments. the video resources are a fabulous tool, and I deeply appreciate how there are so many words to describe how one is feeling, whether it be good, bad or indifferent. so many other features that you simply must download to play with/explore. definitely a go to if you want to pour into yourself in the form of emotion regulation and understanding.

### 5/5 — This app is great.

*2026-08-21, version 1.17.8*

Even as a minor, I use this app with my mom, and it helps us to understand ourselves and each other a little better every entry.

*2026-08-19, version 1.17.8*

### 5/5 — I’m harassed while listening to or using your app

*2026-08-18, version 1.17.8*

Since I listened to the music it is hindered from my enjoyment now In haven’t been able to listen to it. Maybe whoever is trying to interfere my using it has psychotic issues themselves since they think it’s so funny.

### 5/5 — Very good for tracking mental health

*2026-08-17, version 1.17.8*

Very grateful this is free for my mental health check-in and to show my therapist how bipolar I am

### 5/5 — Incredibly High Quality

*2026-08-16, version 1.17.8*

It is clear that a lot of care and focus was put into this app. Combined with everything in here being free, this is a rare gem I feel lucky to have found!

The knowledge and practicality in the set up of this app is very satisfying and super useful to have. Emotional intelligence is the most underrated asset today… so this app is truly a blessing beyond words!
