Then I am just stuck in a loop of adverts. Only way to get back to hdid homepage is to power down phone and restart. Just wondering why this type of issue isn’t resolved before software update is released? ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2025-12-03, version 2.2.7* App has been ruined by pop up adverts, doesn’t even load past the title page most time and when it does it bombards you with ads, very poor ### 1/5 — Badly constructed app *2025-11-16, version 2.2.7* This app is a pain to use, if you accidentally click on an ad then you cannot get back to the golf data, it hangs on the ad site. I am using an iPhone 16 with latest software. The golf data is very good but this ad issue needs to be fixed. ### 1/5 — Terrible layout, too many adverts. Buggy *2025-11-01, version 2.2.7* Since the most recent update a barely tolerable app I only use because I have to is now essentially useless. Slow to load so you end up tapping (irrelevant) adverts that take up most of the interface. Issues with viewing bookings and signing in to club competitions. A lesson in how not to make an app! 0/10 ### 2/5 — Annoying ads *2025-10-13, version 2.2.7* Recently ads have started to appear which if I accidentally click on them, I can’t get rid of, there’s no option to close the page so I have to delete the app and reload it! ### 1/5 — Too many adverts not enough results *2025-10-13, version 2.2.7* Today is the 13/10/25 it’s now over a week since I played in a competition on the 5/10/25 and still no results have been posted on the app. There are results for either side of the 5th so why are there no results for this day and there are far too many adverts on this app which makes navigation difficult to find what you are looking for. ### 1/5 — Pitiful *2025-10-12, version 2.2.7* Absolute joke of an app which, unfortunately, I’m obliged to use to check my club competition results etc. Accidentally click on one of the numerous adverts and you can’t get back to the page you were on. You have to quit the whole thing and start again. Navigation is dreadful in general. App needs rewriting from the ground up. ### 1/5 — Golf app not run by golfers *2025-10-11, version 2.2.7* This app has a lot of potential but is failing greatly. Golf Clubs is pay this company to utilise a service which is usually offset the members yet they are getting very greedy with advertising. They place the advertising on parts of the screen that make the app unusable and very frustrating. I want a golfers are elderly (which I am not) and this becomes very problematic for them. Even as a younger person, I find it very frustrating. This isn’t for golfing this is for advertising. ### 1/5 — Terrible app setup *2025-10-05, version 2.2.7* Trying to create an account it’s a task in itself, the adds take over then take you away from the app!! It freezes, won’t accept scores, won’t allow teetimes to be booked. I’m appalled that I’m paying to use it. Shame on you HDID. You need to refund all your customers. I’ll update when I get the chance to play with it more. ### 3/5 — Annoying app *2025-08-31, version 2.2.7* For golfers this app is indispensable for entering club competitions. It seems many golf clubs are ‘wedded’ to this company for entering and running club competitions. So it’s really annoying to find it runs incredibly slowly when most clubs are running competitions, ie weekends! And I’ve never encountered an app that keeps asking you to keep logging in, for security purposes. Your full details, not a quick process. Every few weeks! When you are on the golf course, without your glasses to hand, it is so annoying to have to enter your log in details. ### 3/5 — Seems to be quite glitch since the recent update in 2025 *2025-07-31, version 2.2.6* I find this app great for my golf. Especially for securing tee times and competition results. However it does seem to be very slow since the recent update. To be fair at least it is now working again. But does need some work to be more responsive. Especially as the app owners must earn quite a lot from the adverts they keep sending me. ### 3/5 — Logging in *2022-10-13, version 2.2.1* App keeps asking me to login even though I have logged on before and ticked Remember me. On iPhone 7. Same with how did I do. Annoying ### 3/5 — Advertising *2022-05-28, version 2.2.1* Have used for a number of years, its ok, but getting very cluttered with adverts, which if touch by accident, not easy to get back to app, other than delete and reinstall.
