How about the developers listening to the feedback given. Can’t delete expired credit card details. The new versions have been released with insufficient testing. Clearly haven’t invested in usability expertise and to a great extent cobbled a number of functions together into a UI that actually fits on a phone screen. We're continuing to make enhancements and appreciate your feedback as we work to make the app even better. ### 1/5 — Spamming with junk *2026-07-29* I’ve used HowDidIDo for years to log competition rounds and see the results. When the new paid for version landed I even paid for a subscription. Sadly the new version seems to be more focused on spamming me with ad filled messages about stuff that has nothing to do with my golf club or me as a player, even when I turn all notifications off. What makes it worse is I get zero notifications about the club or competition I’ve played in, which is kind of the point of the app, the clue is in the name. Won’t be renewing the subscription and would delete if it was not for the need to use it for comps. Yet another app ruined by “improvements” ### 1/5 — Very stressed *2026-07-07* Over the years I’ve had to use some pretty crummy bits of software, but I can’t remember any as bad or infuriating as HDID. On the rare occasions it works it’s fine, but the number of times it fails in simple tasks is unbelievable. Initially I was prepared to give the ‘new’ app the benefit of the doubt, but it clearly has fundamental flaws, has had zero stress testing before being dumped on its users and is simply not fit for purpose. Golfers will be able to view them directly from their club’s Competition Results list, as well as within the All Rounds section of their handicap record. Club Finder Club Finder will allow golfers to search for clubs, view club profiles and access key information including contact details, website links, competition results and member directories, all from one convenient location. Coming soon, golfers will also be able to view upcoming Open Competitions and access a player's handicap record directly from the club profile. The Open Medal presented by One Club The first of our new HowDidiDo Community Challenges (formerly known as Sponsored Competitions). The Open Medal is a challenge run in partnership with One Club, The R&A's official membership programme, bringing a taste of both the Women's and Men's Open Championships to golfers across the UK&I. The challenge runs from Open to Open, launching in August 2026 and continuing through to May 2027, with a winter break between November and February. Prizes will be awarded across six active months, completely free to enter, with two winners crowned each month — one male, one female. How Do We Beat It in support of Prostate Cancer UK We're pleased to announce that How Do We Beat It is returning for its ninth year in August! This virtual charity competition has raised over £280k for Prostate Cancer UK to date and will once again be free to enter for all HowDidiDo members via the new HowDidiDo app. The format remains the same: a season-long virtual eclectic competition where the more golfers play, the more they're rewarded, with a chance to compete in a once-in-a-lifetime Grand Final event.
