## What is HowLong??

How long until? How long since? How long, really?

HowLong? is a love letter to time. It's a timer app, yes — a really good one — but it's also an invitation to notice the strange, beautiful thing that time actually is.

COUNT ANYTHING, IN ANY DIRECTION
Count down to the moments you can't wait for. Count up from the moments you never want to forget — or the ones that changed everything. Weddings, launches, exams, first steps. Days sober. Days since your last cigarette. Some numbers are worth watching grow, one hard-won day at a time. Track them all with flexible timers, Live Activities, and widgets that keep your moments in sight.

FOCUS, YOUR WAY
Work with time instead of against it. Classic Pomodoro sessions for deep focus, or Circadian timing that flows with your body's natural rhythm. Track your streaks, log your sessions, and watch the hours add up to something.

PRESETS FOR EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN
Religious dates, holidays, seasons, pregnancy milestones, financial deadlines, when can I collect state pension (UK) — and history. When my son asked "how many years since the Great Fire of London?" and "how many days since we invented the aeroplane?", we didn't want a fact, we wanted a counter — a number still ticking. Now it's a preset. (359 years and counting, if you're wondering.)
