I highly recommend this game. It is amazing there’s so many breeds which I’m really happy about cause most games only have certain 
breeds. I’m really happy that they make games that people actually love and actually like and they’re just amazing makers so please support them in. This is the best game ever 😍

OMG this game is so good and so much fun 🤩 I can’t believe this is even a thing I love it so much. It’s the best game in the whole world. Also there is one tiny thing. It’s so fun that sometime that’s about it but this is I recommend this for three-year-olds that’s how good it is. I love it so much.

I played this game a bunch as a kid and came back to it recently. I love that there’s an app now and the ui is so similar between the app and the browser. However it does miss out on some browser features that are very useful like BLUP breakdown when you hover over the bar. 
There is an issue with freezing hence only four stars. I have noticed on iPhones if you accidentally pull the lock screen down when playing, the app will freeze and needs restarting. A minor nitpick but it gets annoying haha. 
But apart from that, I love it and am happy to be back in the Howrse community 🐴

I’m a returning player who came back after I found out about the mobile app. It appealed to me due to the convenience compared to PC. With the landscape / horizontal-view, it’s not convenient or efficient for me to play as much as I want on a smartphone. I find it awkward to play while on-the-go because you need both hands rather than one. Additionally, my hands and fingers are becoming stiff and sore due to having to hold my phone differently to play, especially since my phone is too big for my thumbs to tap anything closer to the center of the screen so I need to readjust my grip. For the company itself, it means losing money because I am less productive playing; therefore, I am not buying passes as often.

Another complaint I have is that I am constantly having to log into my account every 2-4 times I open the app. It’s pretty annoying needing to type on a keyboard for a click-based game.

Some improvements I would like to see would be to make the different pages (like Today, Breeding Farm, Equestrian Center, Trade, etc.) easier to access because I’m not a fan of having to 1. Scroll up, 2. Open the Menu, 3. Select the Category, 4. Select the specific Page. Instead, I would prefer to see all of the page options (Office, Horses, Competition Results, Management, Boxes, Meadows, etc.) on one screen/view; therefore, save a click by skipping step #3. Another minor improvement for me would be returning to the previous page with the same search/filters applied. For example, when I search for a horse with the same name, I have to re-enter the same name if I want to view different horses with the same name.

These are my only complaints and preferences. The game runs smoothly otherwise. I really appreciate the devs being active and present for us. :)

Gave the new update a chance but I hate it. I’ve returned to this game many times before with new accounts after inactivity on previous ones and never had a problem catching back up but this new interface has ruined the entire experience. It crashes constantly and I have to restart the game, everything is tiny and it’s so much more tedious than before. I’m not a desktop player and that’s what I loved about the mobile version, it was different and suited many players. Hopefully the developers can make it an option to switch between the two versions or just undo the update entirely but I don’t have much hope for that and may just put the game down and never return which is such a shame.

Love to play on my laptop, but the app is useless. Nothing I do even registers when I play on my phone. Completely wastes my time. If I’m not near a computer that day I’ll lose my login streak. Logins don’t count when you do it through the app I guess. I also got charged for a hat full of passes to get my membership twice. I’m nice through the website, and another time through my phone a few days later. I hate the app now after being charged twice. When I tried to explain the problem I received no response and was charged regardless. What a complete waste of time and my hard earned money to put an unusable, glitchy app like this on the App Store. Have been playing this game since I was a little kid, and I love it, but this was just so disappointing.

I’ve played Howrse since 2010. When the mobile app launched I began to use it regularly as it was much more accessible than constantly sitting in front of a computer, you could open the app for a few minutes and perform a few tasks in the time you had. Not everyone has the opportunity to spend several hours in front of a computer everyday, and that’s how a mobile form of a game can increase accessibility. However, the app recently went through a “redesign.” The app is now the desktop website, on a 5 inch touch screen. There has been no adjustment of text or proportions to tailor the desktop layout to a phone screen. Text is tiny, and attempting to press buttons without zooming in is impossible. Every page requires you to zoom and scroll in order to perform basic functions. This causes great eye strain and reduces accessibility. The app is very poor and nearly impossible to use.
