## Newest reviews (17 of 36)

### 1/5 — App exits and opens default browser

*2023-06-08, version 2.4.0*

What might make this app worthwhile is if all the processing was done in app and had some kind of http or api hooks to manage Central rather than just exiting the app and sending me to a website in an external browser (safari, edge, chrome, etc) look at Cisco Meraki for example for reference.

### 1/5 — What going on with the App

*2023-06-03, version 2.4.0*

You can’t even login, the app is send your to Safari to login and still cannot login.

### 1/5 — How?

*2023-05-02, version 2.4.0*

How is the app so bad? It doesn't work. No devices listed in our tenant. It logs in and gets a token, but then shows nothing.

### 1/5 — Junk

*2023-02-27, version 2.4.0*

This app is a useless piece of crap. Even if you do manage to get logged in, it’s probably even more useless

### 1/5 — No longer appears to work

*2022-09-07, version 2.3.4*

Constantly says login failed since Central merged with GreenLake - but no GreenLake app available

### 1/5 — No longer works since change to GreenLake

*2022-08-28, version 2.3.4*

This app no longer works since the login shift to greenlake.

### 1/5 — Needs Updating

*2022-08-02, version 2.3.4*

All I get is “login failed”. Zone and username correct. Never even gives me a password prompt.

HPE has changed the way all their stuff authenticates with a pseudo SSO function and I think this App has not been updating to support the new authentication.

### 1/5 — Login Failed

*2022-05-31, version 2.3.4*

I was hopeful that this app would still work, but after seeing it hadn’t been updated for 11 months and given the recent changes to Aruba Central as wasn’t surprised when it failed to login ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

### 1/5 — Can’t Login

*2022-05-25, version 2.3.4*

Can no longer log into app. Zone and User Name are correct. Odd that it does not ask for password. Just keep getting Login Failed.

### 1/5 — No longer working

*2022-05-19, version 2.3.4*

After Aruba Central got incorporated into HPE green lake platform, I can’t directly access Aruba Central platform.

### 1/5 — Failed to fetch data, try again later.

*2021-08-17, version 2.3.4*

After features include a white screen that says this and nothing more about 75% of the time.

### 1/5 — Can't connect

*2021-06-23, version 2.3.3*

I entered my Aruba Central login info and app informed me that account doesn't exist. I clicked the 'Create Account' link and nothing happened so difficult for me to assess the app beyond this point. Positives are the app installed quickly and the app icon is not unattractive

### 1/5 — Why is this app garbage?

*2021-02-24, version 2.3.3*

For being a multimillion dollar tech company focused in TECH why is your app unusable? You have no config features, I can’t do a single thing other than view devices? I can’t get outage notifications or anything. Take a few feature for Ubiquiti and compete for God’s sake. With a UBNT app I can view, configure, reboot, blink, and do everything from my app without touching a PC. Making me regret switching when you can’t even make a function app.

### 1/5 — Swing and a miss

*2020-10-16, version 2.3.3*

Could be a great app if they gave it more functionality. No actions to reboot or even blink access point lights.

### 1/5 — Crashing

*2020-03-23, version 2.3.1*

Selecting APAC south and a username crashes the app every time. I’m running 13.3.1 on an iPhone 8.

### 1/5 — 2fa

*2020-01-16, version 2.2.3*

The app does not allow me to log in with an account that has 2fa enabled, so it’s unusable to me.

### 1/5 — App crashes

*2017-03-30, version 2.0.5*

App crashes every time you change AP groups on both Android and IOS devices.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2026-06-25, version 2.5.0*

I logged in and it just says “Success” on the web browser. Can’t get any further.

### 1/5 — App is unusable

*2026-05-12, version 2.5.0*

Cannot sign into the app. App redirects to how website to sign in, then gives out an error:
{"error":"The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Either the server is overloaded or there is an error in the application.","status_code":500}

### 1/5 — Can’t Sign In

*2025-11-11, version 2.5.0*

MFA with passkey in Keeper ands get below.

{"error":"The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Either the server is overloaded or there is an error in the application.","status_code":500}

### 1/5 — Useless

*2025-01-14, version 2.4.1*

This is more useless than just a screenshot of your environment.

### 1/5 — HPE Abandonware?

*2024-10-05, version 2.4.1*

The app logs in ok using SSO, and shows all my AP’s but as soon as you click into a device the details pain is blank.

The site filtering also doesn’t work.

Makes the app pretty much useless, feels like it’s been abandoned by HP?

### 1/5 — Absolute garbage, never has worked correctly.

*2024-08-07, version 2.4.1*

For the money Aruba wants to charge for Central licensing, they’d better not have an embarrassment of a mobile app. Meraki’s has been better for like a decade.

### 1/5 — Broken when using SSO

*2024-07-08, version 2.4.1*

Still broken when trying to signin via SSO

### 1/5 — Useless

*2024-03-25, version 2.4.0*

This app needs some serious development. Compared to other vendors in this space it lacks.

### 1/5 — Can’t login

*2024-02-09, version 2.4.0*

Receive no customer found error. Shouldn’t be this hard guys.

### 1/5 — Broke Since Move to Greenlake

*2023-09-05*

Have not been able to login since they move to HPE greenlake cloud.

## Most praised reviews (7 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2020-07-28, version 2.3.2*

Thanks for making my life easier, works very well

### 5/5 — Great App

*2016-05-31, version 1.3*

I've been waiting for this. It's great!

### 5/5 — Very Clean and Crisp

*2016-03-06, version 1.0*

Very nice app to manage Aruba Network’s cloud managed WLANs. Clean representation of monitoring data and client details.

The barcode scanner for adding APs into your Central account is a huge value add!!!

### 2/5 — Can no longer onboard devices via app

*2019-11-05, version 2.2.0*

Ever since the last update, I cannot scan to onboard new devices.

### 2/5 — Unable to switch networks without logging out

*2018-03-29, version 2.1.1*

Ok for high level look. Not many options for configuration. As title says, bit of a pain if you have multiple networks to scan

### 2/5 — Serial number pulls

*2017-03-16, version 2.0.4*

I tried using the app to add an ap to my devices and it only pulls the sn and will not pull the MAC address. No way to manually add by typing in

### 2/5 — Wireless client search isn't working

*2017-03-06, version 2.0.3*

App crashes when the wireless client search bar is tapped.
