This is really something the developers need to fix! Also, there needs to be a way to export the data after laboriously typing the details on an iPhone. I wouldn’t want to do this twice, but it appears I’ll need to if I want the same info on my iPad. It is incredibly useful in my setup but has so many annoying display issues or disconnection issues that I always end up mad at it. TIP: If you are setting it up for the first time make sure you disable dark mode on your phone! I recently needed it in the evening, and noticed the app is all messed up when Dark mode is active (I have my devices auto-switch, which is why I didn’t notice it until I needed it at night.) Also, there are some odd UI choices, like when you tap on a server, you get a three-button pop-up. To me, a more iOS-like UI would be to have the row of the server you tapped on “expand” to reveal three icons. Little things like that. But the app does what it says (as long as you’re in Light mode!) so that’s a plus! Hopefully the team can fix the issues with Dark mode. ### 1/5 — 2020.08 this does nothing *2020-08-19, version 1.13* This app currently does nothing. I mean nothing. It is the definition of nothing. Not even as good as a simple text-only notepad. Not as useful by a long shot. ### 2/5 — New update needs fixing *2020-05-26* Version history states they’ve only added a link to HPE privacy policy. However they’ve also degraded the remote control facility which was full screen in previous versions but now appears in a small window reducing the effectiveness of the app. Please fix. ### 3/5 — It was good before the last update... But now unusable *2020-05-24* For years this has been a useful app for remoting into servers. It had a few quirks like not typing the first character entered when using the virtual keyboard (causing much hilarity when entering a password!), But once you got used to that it was fine. However, Since the update for some strange reason, the remote console is shown in a window rather than full screen, making the display unusable. I haven’t tried all the features, but so at least I do not have to stumble downstairs in the middle of the night to get to my office to ensure my ESXi hosts are up. I only have one complaint. The phone screen times out to early. I wish there was an option to turn off, or set the screen timeout time. It would be great if the app worked like watching a video and the screen stay on as long as the remote session was open. ### 4/5 — Seems to work fine *2018-07-07* Just used it over work VPN to reboot DL380 G7 running RHEL. Server uses iLo 3. It did not show the OS shutdown or startup messages which I see on my PC when using iLo, but ultimately it worked. It did display the BIOS splash screen, which was good to view, but was only indication that the system had truly rebooted. Would recommend app to others. If your server’s iLo is not licensed your remote console may not work. On PC it will boot you out of the remote console. Not sure how this app reacts to that.
