All in all the drone flys good except for the app. ### 4/5 — Good but could be better *2023-06-16, version 1.5.1* Only recently bought an HS110G GPS drone but have tried out apps for other drones. What I don’t get is that the flight control joysticks are not present. Other apps allow full flight mode from app so don’t need remote control. Not sure if this is in product development schedule. Would be nice to see what planned improvements are in pipeline. Also. On my iPhone 11 the app fills the screen making it difficult to see drone battery status and it would help if it was more like a traffic light, I.e. Green, Amber and Red as this would also be easier. Will try the ‘follow’ buttons at some point and see how they work. Also, not tried the gps route mode, which looks cool. ### 4/5 — Good drone, bad app *2023-03-01, version 1.5.0* garbage app. The drone is decent quality and for the price (around $200) it worked really well, came with a carrying case, and was very good quality for the price. The problem is that this communicates with the drone over a Wi-Fi, and not Bluetooth. It has very limited range and just pulls the drone back when it gets to far, ignoring if there’s an object in its path. I’ve had to climb a few trees to retrieve it, the app isn’t horribly designed but it’s definitely not a 10/10 I’d rate the drone a 7.5/10 and the app a 4/10. I have been impressed with the vertical takeoff and landing abilities. I am also quite impressed with the quality of the video. As an old-time RC and model flyer, the drone is a new adventure that I’m looking forward to. I bought the holy stone as an entry-level beginner model and wasn’t quite sure what to expect out of it. I am beyond upset, app needs to be taken off the App Store. No use to have an app that does not work. I recommend everyone to stay fare away from this, this tech is beneath me. What a waste of time your product was, I’m just going to stick with my GOPRO BLACK that “WORKS” 100% of the time. I gave to gift back the person and told them pls don’t every buy me holystone products ever agin. They apologized, telling me that it looked like it performed well, KEY WORD, ya it looked. Buy a different drone you will be happier. It keep says calibrating over and over and won't let me fly because of it. Thanks for wasting my money.
