Return to it again and the only way it functions is if you delete it, then reinstall it and log in. Then, it works once only. When opening this account a year ago I was encouraged to use the app rather than the website. Now it appears the problem is completely being ignored. ### 1/5 — Have to re-download every time *2020-02-14, version 6.3.200* This app needs to be fixed, I have to re-download every time I need to log in which is a pain! ### 1/5 — Not taking biometric features *2020-02-08, version 6.3.200* Like other reviewers, I cannot get this app to save my biometric features. It works once, and then I have to delete the app to log back in. If I don’t delete the app, it asks me to choose 3 security questions, which aren’t accepted anyway! So frustrating. ### 1/5 — Log In issues *2020-02-01, version 6.3.200* Every time I try to log into the app it won’t take my biometric features ... then when I try to log into the app using my username/password it always come up to answer the security questions ... which is a list of like 10 question ... none of them are ones I have set up! I can log into the website just fine. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — This app suffers from short term memory loss *2026-05-06, version 315.4.0* If you’re using this app, and you switch out of app, (not closing) to do something else for even a second, when you go back into the app it has reset and takes you back to the main Home Screen of the app. This is extremely annoying when you need to go in and out of the multiple times. Example I’m trying to compare the stock options and each time I leave the app and come back to it, the entire app has reset its self. Come on give us at least a 15 minute inactivity window before restarting the app. ### 1/5 — Crashes with Face ID *2025-01-14, version 16.1.0* Any time I try to use Face ID within this app it crashes. iPhone 16 Pro Max on iOS 18. ### 1/5 — Constant app crashing issues *2024-12-02, version 16.1.0* The app crashes every time I try to enable FaceID at login or within the app, or while trying to access some pages within the app. ### 1/5 — Can’t log in anymore *2023-10-17, version 15.0.0* I can’t log in anymore and I’ve tried everything. Even deleted it off my phone and readied the app. Says unable to log you in with biometrics. Can’t login or do anything at all. ### 1/5 — Bad App! *2022-01-17, version 10.1.0* I LOVE my Central Bank app but the HSA app is not good! I had to reset my information and it would NOT sync with the app! It took my 45 mins to figure out my OWN solution, which meant coming up with an entirely new password. It is disappointing to have such an incredible banking experience with the main app and the have to use a subpar app to access my HSA information. Really disappointed! ### 1/5 — Major issues *2020-02-27, version 6.3.200* The log in never works correctly. You’re required to answer security questions every time, which the app doesn’t accept and makes it pointless. I’ve deleted the app out of frustration and now log in through the internet (which has too many steps for verification). I understand that multi factor authentication is secure, it’s just not implemented efficiently/effectively in this case. ### 1/5 — It’s awful *2020-02-21, version 6.3.200* The app constantly deletes my saved finger print and password. When I try to manually type the password it, it tells me each time I’m wrong. When I go online to change my password, there is always an error. The app and online website won’t let me change my password. This is extremely annoying when I use it to keep track of my medical funds! ## Most praised reviews (7 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Easy Peasy *2024-06-04, version 16.1.0* Not too much to complain about — it does everything I need it to in a simple & easy manner. ### 5/5 — Handy and helpful app *2020-07-31, version 6.5.800* I’ve really surprised myself with how often I actually use this app. I didn’t think I would use it much when I first downloaded it, besides checking my account balance and investments. The feature that I surprisingly use the most is the receipt scanner and item scanned. It has completely changed how I shop for medical items, knowing I can quickly pull out my phone and check if an item is HSA eligible or not. I also really like the ability to upload receipts when I forgot my HSA card and pay with my credit card, giving me the ability to easily reimburse myself. ### 5/5 — Nice App! *2020-07-30, version 6.5.800* Easy to use, makes managing my HSA super easy. Appreciate the ability to scan items in the store and upload receipts for future use. I can pay medical expenses with my debit card and then upload a picture of the receipt. If I’m in Target and want to double check if an item is eligible for HSA reimbursement, I can scan the item in the app and see right away.
