## What is HSAT & 9th?

HSAT & 9th-Grade Prep helps 8th graders get ready for the PreACT 9 Secure (the Chicago CPS high school admissions test) with 16 practice tests, including full-length mocks modeled on the October 2026 PreACT 9 Secure, with the same sections, question counts and timing (English 35 min, Math 45, Reading 40, Science 35).

• 16 practice tests, from full 155-minute mock exams to focused drill sets
• Real exam timing, per-section or one clock, plus untimed and 1.5× time options
• HSAT scoring: estimated composite (English + Math + Reading) and HSAT points
• Skill drills built from each student's weakest skills
• Progress history for multiple students on one device
• Parent mode, protected by a parent PIN or Face ID: answers, explanations, the passage beside each question, per-question timing, weak areas and a shareable report
• Works fully offline: no account, no ads, no tracking; everything stays on the device
• Optional study reminders

Unofficial practice. All questions are original. Scale scores are rough estimates only. Not affiliated with ACT, Inc. or Chicago Public Schools.
