Only one thing missing, it still has no LOCK/UNLOCK feature. You still have to call the bank. The previous app was more functional. The developers should have thought this thru before launching this new supposedly upgraded app; Which now feels more of a downgrade. It just shows the purchases. New interface and the option for face id. My issue lies on the features. You don’t know where the transactions for the current billing ends. Or what is your current bill, when to pay it and the minimum. I feel like those are the basics when creating an online banking app especially since most of the customers need to track multiple CC statements. And no, the eStatement is not enough if you want to create a user friendly UI. ### 4/5 — Better but still lacks card lock/unlock functionality *2025-04-25, version 3.56.6* First of all, Kudos to the team for launching this updated app! This version has improve quite a lot than the previous one in terms of functionality, ease of access, and user friendliness, However it still lack the card temporary lock/unlock function in the app ehich I think is highly necessary in view of the cybersecurity issued we had a nowadays. I hope the teal would consider adding this functionality the soonest. ### 3/5 — Recent Transactions Improvement *2025-04-22, version 3.56.6* Finally, a new app to easily manage and view my credit card. I wish that the Recent Transactions can be filtered to only show the current statement rather than showing all the Recent Transaction even from the previous statement. ### 2/5 — Nothing much has changed…. *2025-04-21, version 3.56.6* While there is a slight difference on the interface, the key features of having a mobile app, especially for credit cards, aren’t present. features such as the lock/unlock feature and tracking pending transactions are missing which is essential in providing an additional layer of security. Current credit limit ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Dinosaur age digital account app *2025-12-12, version 3.63.0* In this age and time, I was hoping that HSBC will at least try to keep up with their competitors’ digital app in terms of ease of access, design, and usability - especially for a company that also caters to international customers. However, this app is the worst compared to the apps of their competitors, the transaction takes ages to show on history, the app don’t have much info, there’s too few billers that can be enrolled, there’s hardly you can do wi the this app. In short, this app is quite useless! ### 1/5 — Disappointing company *2025-12-01, version 3.63.0* Got scammed by this credit card company with their Mabuhay miles promo to sign up for the card, but until now they have not awarded me any. It's been a year and I've tried to follow up many times. ### 1/5 — Worst banking app ever *2025-11-07, version 3.63.0* Why did you even bother making an app. Absolutely worthless! ### 1/5 — New App Php *2025-10-26, version 3.63.0* i have just downloaded the new PHP version and to honest it's not very good , let be give some feedback, does not show available balance ( old app did) this is critical info for an app to show.(you have to access main website to check) no new features that I can see bare minimum functions cannot install on two devices, eg Ipad and Iphone system will send you an email each time you log in, quite annoying. very poor compared to other Apps other bank provide they have improved the sign on process , hopefully new features will follow. How long does it take to fix an issue with account registration? It has been more than 2 months and still you’re not able to fix a core functionality of your system whereas it should be a hotfix. Aside from that, the only thing you can do is basically view your account.
