## What is HSK Flashcards Lv1?

MandaDeck is a Chinese vocabulary app covering every word from HSK Level 1 through Level 6 — around 5,000 words.
Review characters, pinyin, meanings, and example sentences on cards, then lock them into memory with four quiz modes and a spaced repetition system that prioritizes the words you struggle with most.

◆ Vocabulary Cards
Browse characters with pinyin, meanings (Japanese/English), and example sentences. Swipe through cards or use auto-play mode to study hands-free during commutes. Translations can be hidden, so you can test whether you truly remember a word. Search across characters, pinyin, and meanings — pinyin search works with or without tone marks.

・Flashcards — See a character and judge whether you know it
・Multiple Choice — Pick the correct meaning from four carefully generated distractors
・Listening Quiz — Hear the audio and choose the right character
・Pinyin Input — Type the pinyin for a given character, with flexible tone matching

◆ Native Audio
Every word includes native Chinese audio. Japanese/English translation audio and example sentence audio are also available. A continuous playback sequence — word, pause, translation, example sentence — lets you absorb vocabulary by ear. All audio is bundled offline, so no internet connection is needed.

◆ Spaced Repetition (Leitner System)
A five-box system automatically schedules reviews. Correct answers promote a word; mistakes demote it. Words you find difficult appear more often, so you spend your time where it matters.

◆ Progress Tracking
See your completion rate overall and for each HSK level at a glance, so you always know what to tackle next.

◆ Filtering
Show only the levels you want to study. Filter by checked and unchecked words to focus on what you have not learned yet.

◆ Study Reminders
Get a daily notification at a time you choose, and turn studying into a habit.

◆ Character Animation
Tap any character to watch it explode into its component parts, drift apart, and reassemble. A visual way to understand how characters are built, with a choice of serif or sans-serif fonts.

◆ Pinyin Chart
A full reference chart of initials, finals, and tones is always one tap away, with audio for each.

◆ Lock Screen & Background Playback
Control playback from the lock screen or Control Center. Close the screen and listen to vocabulary like a podcast.

◆ Home Screen Widget & Controls
Display vocabulary on your home screen. Every glance at your phone becomes a chance to review Chinese. You can also launch the word list straight from Control Center.

◆ Spotlight Search & Siri
Search for any word directly from iOS Spotlight. Use Siri or Shortcuts to start a study session or launch a quiz.

◆ iCloud Sync
Your learning progress syncs automatically across devices via iCloud. Start studying on your iPhone and pick up right where you left off on your iPad.
