Now it’s $120. It was worth it at the lower price - it definitely isn’t worth $120! I continued to use the levels I hadn’t bought lifetime memberships for because there was enough free content to still be useful. Not anymore. They removed ad sponsored content and moved everything that used to be accessible for free with ads to the paid version. This was a money-grab, pure and simple. Now the app is practically useless if you can’t afford ridiculous fees. And before the devs come back saying there’s a monthly subscription option - that’s even worse. Don’t waste your time or money on this app. **Developer response:** We’re sorry to hear you feel that way. The lifetime plan was never meant to be the long-term focus of our pricing model — in fact, we plan to remove it soon to align with most modern learning platforms. As for the ad-supported content, many users couldn’t access it at all due to regional restrictions (e.g. in China or Russia), and ads were becoming more disruptive than helpful. That’s why we unlocked much of that content (stories, games, basic exams) for free, even without ads. Only lessons remain partially limited. We understand that pricing changes are tough, but we continue to offer a full-featured free version, and our monthly plan is among the most affordable in the field. I never recommend apps but this one is really worth. ### 3/5 — The subscription is a scam. *2024-05-20* I bought HSK5 pro but it doesn’t give me any of its features. **Developer response:** Hi! I paid for the app and since the new update now my app is half in Spanish, half in computer code, and the English translations of all the words and phrases are non-existent. When you click a card, instead of giving you the translation it says something like “hsk-5-Chinese” which is not helpful. **Developer response:** Hi Suzy!
