Now it’s $120. It was worth it at the lower price - it definitely isn’t worth $120! I continued to use the levels I hadn’t bought lifetime memberships for because there was enough free content to still be useful. Not anymore. They removed ad sponsored content and moved everything that used to be accessible for free with ads to the paid version. This was a money-grab, pure and simple. Now the app is practically useless if you can’t afford ridiculous fees. And before the devs come back saying there’s a monthly subscription option - that’s even worse. Don’t waste your time or money on this app. **Developer response:** We’re sorry to hear you feel that way. The lifetime plan was never meant to be the long-term focus of our pricing model — in fact, we plan to remove it soon to align with most modern learning platforms. As for the ad-supported content, many users couldn’t access it at all due to regional restrictions (e.g. in China or Russia), and ads were becoming more disruptive than helpful. That’s why we unlocked much of that content (stories, games, basic exams) for free, even without ads. Only lessons remain partially limited. We understand that pricing changes are tough, but we continue to offer a full-featured free version, and our monthly plan is among the most affordable in the field. Thanks for using the app in the past, and we wish you the best on your learning journey. 🐼 ### 1/5 — New Update Ruined the Functionalitu *2023-07-31* I have been trying to contact the developers and company but don’t seem to get any response. I paid for the app and since the new update now my app is half in Spanish, half in computer code, and the English translations of all the words and phrases are non-existent. When you click a card, instead of giving you the translation it says something like “hsk-5-Chinese” which is not helpful. **Developer response:** Hi Suzy! That issue was fixed quickly after the update, and since then the app has improved a lot. Every month we add new content, better translations and HSK-based features. We'd love to hear what you think now — and if you give us a chance, we’d be happy to send you a small thank you gift 🎁🐯 ### 1/5 — Rip off *2022-11-28* I completely agree that this app is a huge rip off. I do not want to pay and then have the app restricted. This is not a video game with levels this is a language app. I feel The developers are very disrespectful of learners who want to go at their own pace in their own way. I don’t want the app to limit how I progress. This could be a great app but I hate it. **Developer response:** Hi!
