The app said that my ticket purchase failed, so I entered my credit card payment again. Then I saw that in fact I got charged, so I bought a second ticket for no reason

As soon as your phone comes close to scan the ticket, the ticket app is closed and Apple Wallet opens. This makes the app useless, because you can’t scan in and out.

The transit in The Hague is fabulous! But I agree with the other reviewer that there is a glitch that tells you your ticket purchase did not go through- but it actually did. I put through the order three times before we got the OK, then I had 3x too many tickets at 3x the price. Customer service was great at helping me sort it out and I have credits to use on other days. But it was a bummer. My advice: don’t put the order through a second time before you take the time to check your “ticket wallet” or your email confirmation.
