## What is HTP?

HTP-1 Remote is a native iPhone and iPad controller for the Monolith HTP-1 home theater processor.

CONTROL
• Volume with press-and-hold ramping and a large readout
• Switch inputs, with protection for Dirac processing during transitions
• Select upmixers: Dolby Surround, DTS Neural:X, Auro-3D, and more
• Night mode, dialog enhancement, lipsync, and front panel brightness

DIRAC LIVE
• Turn Dirac Live on, off, or bypass, and switch filter slots
• The now-playing view shows which Dirac product and slot are active
• A clear warning if the Dirac engine reports a problem, with the fix described

BASS EQ
• Browse the community BEQCatalogue database in the app
• Apply a Bass EQ to your subwoofer channels in one tap, and clear it just as quickly

CONNECTION
• Finds your HTP-1 on the network automatically (firmware 2.1.2 or later)
• Shows connection, standby, and offline states honestly, and reconnects for you
• Links to the processor's full web interface for setup tasks

PRIVACY
• No accounts, analytics, or tracking
• The app communicates only with your processor and, when you request a catalog update, the public BEQ database
• Open source: https://github.com/htp1-app/htp1-native-controller

Requires a Monolith HTP-1 on your local network. Older firmware can connect by IP address, firmware version >2.1.2 is highly recommended.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.0.2 — 2026-08-20

2 bug fixes included here:

The app could sit on the connecting screen indefinitely when it was reopened while the HTP-1 was powered off, with no way to retry or change the address. It now offers both after a few seconds.

Putting the processor into standby from the app put the unit to sleep but left the app still showing it as awake. The app now reflects standby immediately, and a second sleep in the same session works.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-19

No release notes.
