### 4/5 — Works (in an involved way)

*2026-04-29*

Requests need to be saved and remember their name but on second edit; you click a lot - but in the end it works. Not the most friendly app but fair enough.

### 4/5 — Some free options now Pro

*2026-04-02, version 2026.1.1*

HTTPBot is a rock solid app and performs as advertised. Recently, however, I returned to the app after just a few weeks and some of the features that I was counting on for my workflow had been moved to pro features.

Basically, many of my calls were saved as custom workflows. Now you need Pro to run custom work flows, as well as export as CURL, so I have to re-create these workflows manually.

This is a core usability change has left me stuck in the water, as purchasing Pro is now a considered purchase and I have to go back and compare HTTPBot to the other paid REST apps that are out there, especially if I’m going to have to re-create all of my calls manually anyway.

This is not a complaint, just an alert for those folks that have developed workflows in the app before those features went Pro.

It's a rock solid app. And the developer deserves to get paid for it. But if you previously chose HTTP bot specifically because of the features that are now only available in the Pro version, you now have other apps to consider before you buy.

### 4/5 — Love/Hate But Still Great

*2026-01-20, version 2025.4.1*

I wanted to keep this one, but the biggest thing I have a problem with is that you can’t copy the response data from the API call. It has a “copy” option but there must be a bug or something because it never goes to the clipboard. Otherwise, its way less clunkier than Postman!

### 2/5 — No help from the developer

*2025-09-26, version 2025.3.2*

I paid for premium. There are no instructions on how to use the Apple Shortcuts actions.
Reaching out to support results in zero response. Seems like a nice app useful for mobile requests and automations but I’ll never know.

### 1/5 — Absolute garbage.

*2025-08-27, version 2025.3.1*

App Store simply says “in store purchases”. Upon opening it first time, you have NO OPTION to use-before-buy. You are forced to select a subscription. Sorry - not paying monthly/yearly for something that should be a one-time purchase. Especially when I don’t even have the option to test-drive it first.

### 4/5 — bantu saya

*2025-08-17, version 2025.3.2*

bantu saya

### 1/5 — This is a paid only app - you need a subscription

*2025-08-15, version 2025.3.1*

You can’t do a single thing without a subscription

### 1/5 — Waste of time

*2025-06-29, version 2025.3.1*

What’s the point of making the app free on the App Store if I can't use anything at all without a subscription?

### 1/5 — Postman integration broken

*2025-04-09, version 2025.3*

Blank collection waste of money

### 1/5 — Scam!

*2025-04-04, version 2025.3*

Forces you to get pro wish i coup give it 0 stars but i like the concept of the app

### 1/5 — pro trail only

*2025-03-31, version 2025.3*

it should be illegal to market app as free and then force user to buy it once inside

### 1/5 — This app is obviously a fraud

*2025-03-25, version 2025.2.3*

This app forces me to get into their trial for their Pro features right from the start - with no option to opt out. It’s even worse that the app doesn’t have a place for me to cancel my subscription. I will report this app and want to see this app removed from the store for this kind of behavior.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — App crashes all the time

*2026-06-03, version 2026.3.1*

Wasted $50

### 1/5 — Kostenpflichtig!!

*2026-05-14*

### 1/5 — Subscription-forcing trash

*2026-04-01, version 2026.1.1*

Requires starting a trial with auto-billing afterwards to even get into the app. Instantly deleted.

### 1/5 — Can’t get past the “Start your Pro Trial” screen

*2026-03-10, version 2026.0.1*

Got it try and make a post call. Can’t seem to get past the “Start your Pro Trial” screen. I don’t want to start a trial just to try the “free” app.

### 1/5 — No free version

*2026-02-01, version 2026.0.1*

You can’t even test out the app without signing up for a $5 weekly subscription. Most apps at least have a free tier. Junk

### 1/5 — PayWall

*2026-02-01*

Einfach alles hinter einer PayWall

### 1/5 — Instalar é gratuito mas você não pode usar sem por um cartão de crédito.

*2025-12-23*

Estão passando por necessidades, só pode!

### 1/5 — Issues on macOS

*2025-11-05, version 2025.4.1*

It seems this app is optimized only for iOS. On the Mac you can’t copy and paste any data from the API responses - the only way is with share sheets. This has persisted for many versions.

### 1/5 — Not free

*2025-11-03, version 2025.4.1*

of course I don’t expect the developers to publish a free application for charity, but at least it would be some basic stuff which you can upgrade with the pro version

### 1/5 — Bought and didn’t work

*2025-09-17*

Scam!
