Barely anyone else uses this, so you don’t have a good network to pickup on your pet’s location if it goes missing. If there is any cinderblock between you and your pet, the cinderblock will block the signal. Also, if you reach out to customer service, they will NEVER get back to you, even if you reach out more than once. I ended up switching to the airtag. Even tho it is bigger, it is so much more reliable than Huan. ### 3/5 — Great product but no customer support *2022-10-01, version 1.0.59* I’ve had these tags for a long time and have a lot of them. The app hasn’t been working for a month or more on apples or androids. I have had no responses from the multiple times I’ve contacted the company. It appears they’ve switched to seeking only AirTag sleeves but what about those that still have the original trackers? I’ve spent a lot of $$ on these tags with them to stop working is extremely frustrating, especially without any response from the company. Precious to this, the trackers and system were amazing. ### 2/5 — Room for improvement *2022-09-28, version 1.0.59* I’ve had the Huan tag for a year. Although all location services and notifications are enabled on my phone, I never receive notifications from the app indicating what the battery needs to be changed or when my pet’s tag is no longer detectable. It would be helpful to have a more detailed FAQ page on their website along with a chat feature to connect with a support team. Also, you can’t access any sort of “help” page from their app without logging in through an internet browser. Seems excessive since you’re already logged in if you are accessing the app. ### 4/5 — Great product, but short battery life. *2022-05-02, version 1.0.59* Love the product, gps sensitivity perfect. My only complaint are the life of the batteries, seems I’m changing them often. ### 2/5 — Still on the fence *2022-03-11, version 1.0.59* The tag worked great the first month. However, since then, it hasn’t picked up my dog. No response from an email to the company yet. I changed the battery hoping that would solve the problem. It didn’t. Great idea and if they fix the glitch or replace the tag, it would be great. I don’t talk on my phone much & use my laptop for Facebook, etc but I still have to charge my phone everyday. If I change permissions to only allow location when I’m using the app it won’t locate them at all. We need a happy medium where it can locate my dogs when needed but not kill my phone battery as much. ### 1/5 — Huan Pet Tracker not reliable *2021-09-19, version 1.0.59* I did not have success with either one of the two units I purchased. The tracking information never pinpointed my pets’ location and actually showed them where they were NOT located. Maybe it works for others but not me. My outdoor cat is staying with friends for a few months, so this app has been great to ensure she is safe in her new neighborhood. I love that you can add multiple people as her “owner,” so her location can be viewed by any of them. My friend said, “I just like having Stella’s location. It’s like find my friends.” I gave 4 stars just because the app is a little confusing at first, and the product did not come with instructions on how to navigate it (only how to sign up). It took some playing around, but after that it’s pretty simple to use! ### 1/5 — My cat *2021-09-07, version 1.0.59* I purchased this collar for my cat because he definitely likes to roam. It hasn’t been able to “find him”for 13 days even though he has been home every single day…….but today. And now that he’s actually missing it’s still not working which really pisses me off. What a waste of money. I’m very disappointed ### 1/5 — Truth *2021-09-02, version 1.0.59* The app constantly logs you out. The GPS is not accurate, it’s terrible. Doesn’t load, says your dog was last seen hours ago when you’re not home. Doesn’t show the real time until you’re in Wi-Fi zone. This is a hackers app! Hackers are using this app so people will but in their info!! STAY AWAY! Biggest scam ever! ### 2/5 — 😏😏😏 *2021-07-21, version 1.0.59* I'm giving this app 2.5 rating. When I first downloaded the app, everything was working fine. No issues with the tracker or app. But 2 days ago I noticed I was logged out, and I tried signing in but was giving a message that my email didn't exist and was deleted. I'm annoyed now because I created a new account and tried entering my dog's tag numbers; I can't because the tags are already in use. ### 4/5 — Good idea but network needs to grow *2021-07-21, version 1.0.59* I wanted an easy light weight tracker for my cats when they are outdoors. This tag is super light and small! I also like that I can open the app and see if my cats are around rather than aimlessly looking for them, but no one else in my neighborhood uses this app so the range is limited. Seems like Huan should try marketing/awareness campaigns on NextDoor to build their user base. One app enhancement I would suggest is to send a push notification to the owner when the tagged animal “returns” to their home range after a period of being away - range status changes from “was here/last seen” to “in range.” ### 1/5 — Unacceptable *2021-07-13, version 1.0.59* My dog is high risk for running away. I mistakenly thought this would help me find him quicker…however, the app shows me where he was THREE hours ago -when he was still home not where he is now. So, I’m still in the same situation that I was before I got this product. It only shows you when your pet was last located at your house or when it’s within range of other pets with huan devices which are very very few and far between!! One of them is still searching for signal after 2 weeks. The other does work, but is insanely inaccurate. My cat could be beside me and appear to be half mile away on the app. The app also needs major updates. Before it completely crashed all four of my tags couldn’t be detected. I don’t understand how the tags just stopped working. I’ve read the other reviews and it seems to be happening to everyone. If the business was going under at least have the decency to inform your customers. Who knows how long my tags weren’t working. The app didn’t even notify me that the tags couldn’t be detected. I logged in to the app and noticed. What if my dogs went missing? I’ve spent a ridiculous amount of money on their products, I mean come on $20 for a tiny rubber sleeve cover? Just to throw everything out now and try to find another company. I messaged the company several times before the app quit working and never got a response. How many dogs went missing and weren’t found because your product no longer worked? This is absolutely ludicrous and you should be ashamed for running your business like this. Now I’m left to spend more unnecessary money on all new products. Hopefully better luck this time. ### 1/5 — Poor app poor customer support *2022-11-16, version 1.0.59* Got a tag for my dog, worked for a little while with some glitches here and there. Then it suddenly stopped, gave an indication it needed to be replaced and that there was an error. I attempted to fix this error, and was sent into a never ending loop that didn’t allow me to reset my password, get into the app, or contact support. I tried to find support’s contact, but couldn’t, sent a cold email and never heard back. Pretty awful experience for an app that is supposed to be reliable for pet tracking. ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work *2022-11-09, version 1.0.59* It used to work when I bought the tags a couple years ago but now the app doesn’t work at all. All my information got deleted and it wouldn’t let me add a new pet or sync a tag. I waited a couple weeks to see if issue would improve on its own but now it won’t login at all, can’t reset my password, and it won’t even let me create a new account. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app but didn’t fix the issue. ### 1/5 — Was great, until they bailed *2022-10-30, version 1.0.59* I loved these tags for finding my little kitties who like to hang out in my backyard. I liked the crowdsourcing idea and helping other owners through the app. Up until two months ago it was great until they abruptly stopped supporting the app. My account was deleted and is not able to be updated. Multiple attempts to contact the company were ignored. I went to their website and there is no mention of tags and they are only selling air tag holders now. A little heads up would’ve been nice. If you use this, put in a new battery every time your pet goes out, and pray they come back that day, otherwise, the Huan will have no idea who you or your pet are. It says pet protection is disabled but won’t let me enable it. Luckily my dogs aren’t lost but if they got out and I was trying to use the app and found it like this I would be so upset.
