When you go to play back your videos you are left with a pure white screen. The app either needs updating or to just remove! Only way to get videos is remove sd card and download to computer. Not really the future of dash and really, if I had known this I would have got a different dashcam! ### 2/5 — Wifi? *2020-11-25* Its not really wifi and wont hotspot to your phone so need to connect it as a wifi device each time. Pretty useless option really. It connects to the dashcam camera’s WiFi no problem there but when opening the Hubble camera and connecting it still says connect to WiFi which I can’t understand even tho I am connected. ### 2/5 — Discontinued & unsupported *2019-08-21* Just discovered today from Hubble that the MDC500 dash cam is discontinued and that the developers are no longer supporting the app. So it crashes when you ask for driving statistics. Yes? Well this will never be fixed. When new iOS versions require app to be updated. Well this will never happen. It’s a timebomb waiting to happen. Firmware for Dashcam(MDC300GW/MDC500GW) which is dated Aug 18 will not be updated. Now I need the app function few years later I find that the app never worked for anybody. Very bad on Motorolas and Hubbles part. Lost a customer, going to Nextbase. From a IT technician side I can get the GPS coordinates from the SD but I do not have time to write an application that can interpret this. Downloaded this app to my iPhone but it was unable to connect with the dash cam, no wifi network showing. This dash cam should no longer be sold, as it is false advertising saying it still works with this unsupported app. It doesn’t. Returned to Argos for refund. Works well to view footage or to download files but driving stats don’t work as app crashes. Real shame as the Dashcam(MDC300GW/MDC500GW) has GPS enabled but no use as playback does not show location etc. Would be fantastic if these features were fixed. ### 4/5 — Great app *2019-03-24* The app is really good. Can can stream live video from the front or rear cameras and also download videos and photos. I have the same problem as the previous review though, the driving statistics do not work and forces the app to close.
