Die Bedienung der App ist gut. Wir waren in Nordamerika. Außerhalb der Großstädte oft kein Empfang. Oft nur ein Balken LTE oder gar nichts. Meine Frau hat dann aus Verzweiflung den Telekompass gekauft. Dann hatte sie in gut 90% der Fälle, wo ich kein Internet hatte, Empfang. Außerdem teurer als der Telekompass.
Fazit: Funktioniert nur ausreichend in Großstädten

This isn’t my first purchase, I normally buy one for Poland and Turkey,  maybe sometime Internet is a little bit slower than usual but still couldn’t be happier even more happy now top last longer than usual

Got the whole family on Hubby eSIM for our vacation to Turkey. It was so much easier than hunting for local SIMs at the airport. We all stayed connected the moment we landed. No more 'Where's the Wi-Fi?' questions from the kids. Life saver!

Only 1 GB free data that expires after 2 days. App is hard to navigate due to upselling. Upselling is a predatory discount deal that expires after 12 hours, which they don't tell you before you use your code. eSIM takes 10+ minutes to activate.

Doesn't work on my iPad which supports eSIMs (that's how I'm writing this review). And the app error message confusingly says the device doesn't support eSIMs.

Ich habe über die Hubby App für die Türkei einen „Unbegrenzte“-Tarif gekauft, weil ich während meines Urlaubs viel mobiles Internet benötige.

Nach der Nutzung von maximal ca. 5 GB an einem Tag wurde meine Geschwindigkeit plötzlich auf nur noch etwa 0,4 Mbit/s gedrosselt. Damit ist Videostreaming praktisch nicht mehr möglich und teilweise kann ich nicht einmal Bilder verschicken.

Besonders enttäuschend: Auch am nächsten Tag blieb die Geschwindigkeit bei etwa 0,4 Mbit/s. Es handelt sich also offenbar nicht um eine kurzfristige Tagesbegrenzung.

Ich habe den Support kontaktiert und konkret gefragt, ab welchem Datenvolumen die Drosselung erfolgt, auf welche Geschwindigkeit reduziert wird und wo diese Einschränkung beim Kauf angegeben wurde.

Die Antwort des Supports war, dass sie die genauen Drosselungsschwellenwerte und Geschwindigkeiten selbst nicht kennen. Eine Rückerstattung wurde abgelehnt. Stattdessen wurde mir lediglich ein Guthaben für den Kauf einer weiteren eSIM angeboten.

Wenn ein Tarif als „Unbegrenzte“ verkauft wird, sollte für den Kunden klar ersichtlich sein, unter welchen Bedingungen die Geschwindigkeit massiv reduziert wird. In meinem Fall war diese Information beim Kauf nicht ersichtlich.

Ich kann die Hubby App daher nicht empfehlen.

Habe mir eine esim für vietnam geholt, hat am Anfang auch gut funktioniert, bis ich meinen Standort gewechselt habe und ich auf einmal keine mobilen Daten mehr nutzen konnte, obwohl ich netz hatte. Auch nach ewigem hin und hergeschreibe, konnte das problem nicht behoben werden. Bin absolut enttäuscht.

I was 3 hours and 160MB into my 2 day 1 gig free eSIM, and it stopped working. Still registered as connected but no data, leaving me stranded without internet access late at night on my first night in Santiago

J’ai utilisé Hubby eSIM 1 journée a Miami ça bien fonctionner, j’ai acheté un forfait pour Cuba à plus 100$ canadiens et ça n’a jamais fonctionné alors ne pas acheter pour Cuba bien qu’ils offrent Cuba ça ne fonctionne pas, le service d’aide est nul

Received a free eSIM from AuntBetty which I hope to try it out and it’s absolutely failed. I turned on the eSIM and it could not connect to any network provider in Hong Kong.
I tried to restart mobile or reinstall eSim and could not get it to work.
Changed to another provider which can buy and get it worked in few mins.

Got an eSIM with 2gb of data for travelling, it doesn’t work whatsoever, I’ve followed all the instructions for installing and activating, but as soon as I switch to that line, I cannot get any internet connection. I’ve tried multiple times and given up, now paying data roaming charges

Nach kaufen der eSIM gibt es nur eine „INTERNAL“ Fehlermeldung. Absolut nutzlos.

Purchased 5GB of data and it just automatically uses itself up without even having the data on. The customer service are useless as they are robots programmed to sound like humans and keep changing the rules they are allowed to use with in giving back the data you lost. In the end they refused to give it back.

I have used Hubby eSIMs in Tunisia and South Africa and am very happy with the service received. The eSIMs were easy to install and provided good Internet coverage at a very reasonable price. I will definitely use Hubby again next time I travel.
